Hellmann’s mayonnaise is a staple in my pantry, and I believe it's worth the price due to its appealing taste. I find the flavor to be light, with a well-balanced saltiness. Although the label describes it as "heavy," I personally don’t find it to be heavy; however, I understand that taste preferences can vary from person to person.

Those yellow splotches you see are nothing more than air pockets that happen when the jar is filled.Excellent mayonnaise. The heavy mayo makes the best salads, tuna, salmon, as well as dressings.

Huge, the flavor is more creamy and definitely more eggs flavor but not too overbearing. I highly recommend. Although don't use in your hair, I never had dandruff before trying this as an egg hair treatment but now I do. Keep for food use.

The "HEAVY" mayo? yeah it's like super thick and creamy as it's supposed to be. We found we do prefer the regular Hellmans better :)

Amazon should know that this item, ordinarily fine, arrived as an obvious production malfunction. The jar contained about 75% cider vinegar and 25% other ingredients. This unfortunately went unnoticed in packaging. I wish I could figure out how to send the pictures I took.

Think the regular smaller jars 40 oz 24oz are thicker then this. Mine just doesn't seem to be of the same quality (seems thinner), It does taste ok, now it just takes up a lot of space in the fridge.
