I did as others suggested and disassembled the hopper and fill outlet. Yes, there were fine metal filings in the fill outlet, so this was essential. It's just good practice to make sure everything is sterile before use anyway, so I washed thoroughly before using the first time.Reassembly was quick and easy.Ran my first batch of lotion through this machine today (February 3, 2020). It took a few adjustments to get the fill just right, but once that was done, I was able to fill 50 4-oz. bottles in about an hour. It would have gone faster if I hadn't had some trouble with the bottles collapsing when I tried to snap the lids on.Taking apart to clean is a bit more tricky. There's always going to be residual lotion/cream in the hopper, so the internal screws are a bit slippery. It might have been easier if I hadn't wanted to save the residual lotion for small samples. Next time, I'll wipe the top bolt clean for easier handling.So far, I'm really happy with this machine. I'll update if I run into any problems.

Easy to use and easy to set up. It’s good and simple, but there is no way to adjust the air pressure. I tried using it to fill runny cream-like liquids, but because the air pressure is so strong, it kept exploding out of the bottle. Could work for thicker liquids possibly

The 8mm valve , do you have any suggestions on where to buy it from? Lowes or Home Depot do not sell it. You should sell that piece also and add it to the price of the machine. Or at least offer it for sale. My machine arrived in perfect shape. A+I will buy a few more once I get it hooked up.

I was extremely disappointed when there were no clear instructions on specifically what type of air compressor was needed with the unit. I went to various hardware stores and other shops trying to get the machine to work! Totally not prepared for the extra work required just to get machine working. Once working I realized it was not a value for the money just spent extra money on air compressor and stuck with a machine that is useless!

First of all, the machine was broken when it arrived- and not because of shipping. The machine was literally missing critical internal parts and screws. It was also so poorly machined the components didn't fit together well and wouldn't have worked even if it showed up with all the parts. When I attempted to contact the manufacturer, the contact information provided was fake (a power company in Daytona). Amazon was kindly able to replace the item, but the second machine that arrived was almost as bad as the first. This product is absolutely not worth the price.

It doesn’t come with everything you need to get started , I’m currently running around try to find a hose that fits the connection air pressure piece.
