Works Great
-Update below-March 2020- I took a chance on the 3200W generator and so far I'm very happy with it.After breaking it in and changing the oil I put a good load on it and at the continuous rated 2800 watts it ran like a champ and when I dialed it up to 3200 watts for a few minutes it just kept pumping out 124 volts with no compliant. It easily starts the 15K btu AC on my camper, even in eco mode. The electric start works great (the choke is fully automated) and the auto start function is a nice bonus. The overall width and side handles make it comfortable to carry alone or with a helper and the wheels are great to move it around on a smooth floor or hard packed dirt. The engine sound is similar in tone and volume to my Honda EU2000i.I had some questions and called into their tech support. I was quickly connected with a tech and he treated very well and was very competent. He seemed happy to help me and it was important to him that I was happy with my purchase.I did have to give the battery a good charge when I first got the generator but after leaving it on my trickle charger for a couple of days and then hooking it up to the generator it has worked flawlessly. Really my only complaint is that it doesn't have a fuel gauge and there is no oil drain plug so you have to tip it on it's side to drain the oil out of the filler opening. One concern is the lack of available service centers should I need to have it repaired, but hopefully it will not give me any trouble.I hope to get the same life out of this one that I got out of my Honda. This one is a little heavier and a little larger but the extra power is nice and the performance and features are great. I'll update my review after things warm up and I can put it to use on some of our upcoming camping trips.Aug 2020 Update:After a summer of running the generator mostly to power the air conditioner on our camper I am very happy with it. I've never had any trouble starting or running it. My wife is not especially mechanically inclined but I left her alone camping for a week and she ran the generator when she wanted without any issues or complaints. It fits nicely in the front compartment of our camper. Several people have commented on how quiet it runs. I've used it to run a cement mixer, chop saw, grinders, portable air compressor, work lights, etc. and it's never given me the slightest problem. I still miss a gas gauge and an oil drain plug would be nice. If they offer those options in an updated version I'd make the switch but I suspect I'll be running this one for many happy years to come.

Runs good but hard to start.
Hard to start, takes multiple pulls even warm. Sometimes the electric start can't turn it over. Got it for the low battery auto start. Still need to set that up. No fuel gauge is annoying.Oil and funnel not included. Flat I had some already for my smaller generatorsIt has a primer button. I forget if that's mentioned in the product description. It will start my 15,000 btu ac or 13,500, but not both. I'm going to try a soft start sometime. On overload it turns off completely, extra annoying when it's hard to start.Hoping it starts easier after break-in.Will probably also get a champion or firman dual fuel. I wanted the Westinghouse DF but it's not in stock. So I'll need two generators to run both ac.

Did not work
Unfortunately it did not work at all straight out of the box. When we called customer service, they walked us through a few things. Nothing worked, so we were told to file a claim through amazon. Fortunately, amazon refunded us no problem!

Excellent product and a reasonable price
You'll want a funnel for adding oil, neither are included. Automatic start is easy to use and it seems one charge of the battery could start the generator many times before needing another charge. Shipped fast. No complaints!

You pay return shipping; expensive on a Generator.
I bought this product through Inverter Supply at the direction of the Aims Corp sales person. Cheaper and free shipping. I paid $655. I was very excited to find a smaller lighter electric start generator. I emailed the manufacturer to make sure it would try multiple times to auto start (like my Champion Generator.) He assured me yes. I can't tell you yes or no during the 15 day return window because it started first time as I did a quick checkout. When I took it camping auto start didn't work at all. I got back from camping (after the 15day return window) and reported the problem; they wanted the entire unit shipped back. Best case for me $153 with UPS ground; plus insurance. I finally convinced tech support to send just a new autostart module. ( mine was dated 2018. when did they start selling these? new one dated 11/20.) I sent an email thanking them for shipping a replacement and offering to troubleshoot over the phone if it still doesn't work. No response. It sort of works. It will try once to start the generator. Interestingly, if you forget to set the switch to the run position from stop, and you try to auto start, it will try three times. In the process of replacing the autostart module, I discovered the hot AC lead was pulled from its connector blade due to faulty crimp and solder. Auto start tries only once on my unit. I'm pretty disappointed in the technical quality and support for this product. I was excited to find a generator that met my size and weight needs. At this point wish I'd waited for Champion to make a smaller electric start unit. And I guess the real lesson learned is for heavy products, pay attention to warranty return shipping policy. I'm my case, 23% of the purchase price. Makes the product not a good deal at all. Also, I learned to read BBB reviews for a manufacturer. I just did. There are not too many, but the experiences are similar to what I'm experiencing. Aims Corp doesn't really stand by the products. Oh! Ask me about GFCI on a generator outlet!
