Superior CD-2522 Deluxe Hardshell Oblong F Model Mandolin Case

This is a nice case. It fits the F style mandolin very well. Someone else mentioned this as well, but it is very snug not only in the body cavity, but as you close the case. I think it feels like shock or dropping would transfer more energy to the mandolin if there is already kind of form pressure on the top of the mandolin body, but there really isn't any way to know.It is built well and looks the same in pictures.The green lining feels more like hard foam than memory foam, and isn't as soft as I imagined.The latches line up correctly, a big deal to me. And the stitching and exterior looks right.The handle feels weird. It doesn't fit in your hand at all. It's a minor detail, but noticeable.The compartment works and is built well.Overall: you'd pay probably $350 for this case "Made in the USA" with every little detail done perfectly. I think it's a good case for a good price.

$130 what a waste, first of all came in a oversized box with very little packing, bouncing around.Looks ok from the outside but inside there is virtually no padding and there is NO neck support!! My 47 Gibson has a very loose fit, I'll have to supply my own padding and support of some sort.I strongly warn against this company, Superior, I got ripped off!!!

what a sweet case....arched top to boot...great looks....my Gretsch F4 style Park Avenue...seemed a little too thick to fit easily into the case with the lid closed...but not by much...but it is making room for itself over time.

Fits my sons Flinthill Mandolin perfect. Great case. Made sturdy and very well.
