The media could not be loaded. I was hesitant to pull the trigger on these at over $150 a pair. Needed something weather proof, long battery life, and decent sounding.Weather proof- yes. But, mine sit under our covered patio. They worked fine after 2 nights in Oregon marine air.Batteries ran GREAT! With lights on, we listened for 5-6 hours straight before low batteries indicated. Volume was at 50%. Takes 3-4 hours for full charge.As for SOUND. If you are an audiophile like me, you’ll probably be a little disappointed. Used Pandora at first. At 75% Volume, there’s was distinct crackling and bass was distorted. Listening to acoustic violin station. Bass isn’t as deep as my JBL Flip 5. At 50% the sound is very clean and crisp. I did go into settings on Pandora and changed the audio quality to higher. Made somewhat of a difference. If you upgrade to the monthly fee, apparently you can play music at 196kbs. Which should make a big difference. I have the two speaker set, definitely good “stereo” surround sound. I would say it met my expectations for “decent” sounding. I did download an EQ app and when listening to music from my ITunes library, I could change the richness of the treble, mids, and bass. But, again, at higher volumes, it became distorted and tough to listen too.The speakers paired EASILY! One touch button. Bluetooth connection to my IPHONE 11 Pro Max was flawless. I have them 15 feet apart. I could walk 30 feet away and still stayed connected to my phone. Lights added a nice ambience to the patio. The model I have only have the white lights, not the colored ones. Despite what you see in the photo, they are not “yellowish” like our string lights. More white, but still great to look at. The speakers look very nice with the new design. But, seems cheaply made when you handle it. Plastic parts, but I imagine plastic would hold up better over time than wood?!?The two minor annoying things. One, when the speakers are pairing to each other and your device, the voice is pretty LOUD. Her voice is definitely from China...lol my people.2nd, comes with two USB charging cables. They are 2 separate cables and does not include a wall plug-in. You need to get two single plug ins or luckily we had a plug in with two USB ports. Minor inconvenience.Overall, I wish they’d use little better quality speakers. For the size of the boxes, thought they’d put more into the audio aspect. The look amazing with the LED lights and the design.

I went down rabbit hole of looking for good outdoors/ indoor speakers! So if you’re in the market and looking around I will save you the trip down hole! These things are awesome! Nice and loud. They do not distort. Crystal clear sound. Lights are very nice and bright.

I'm bumping these up to four stars as I bought a new pair with the colored LEDs. They fixed the on/off switch, and now its a rubber silicon switch and NOT the little dip switch that I criticized in the first review - good job guys! Also the colored LEDs are kind of nice for finding them in a dimly lit party environment. They seem to sound better than before but still a little weak on the bass. I have overcome that weakness by hooking them up to a woofer with a splitter on the aux out cable from my Alexa dot - one output to the woofer and one output to the speakers. So now I have good stereo sound with great bass. Overall very happy!--------------Previous Review-----------So overall I really like these speakers with a few caveats. First off they look very nice and my wife is happy with their appearance out on our patio. They paired up easily with each other, and I use the Aux In port to connect an Echo Dot so I have Alexa functionality. They acknowledge the pairing AND the Aux In with a voice confirmation. They have white LEDs that are a nice feature for making them look like a lantern. The sound is indeed true L-R stereo which is much appreciated in the mono world of Bluetooth speakers. The sound quality I would rate as decent but would personally like to hear more bass, which is there but a bit weak in the overall mix with no adjustments available. I have a pair of similar Shark stereo speakers that are smaller and sound better on the bass end. Another caveat is the on/off switch on each speaker is on the backside of the units underneath a rubber strip that has to be lifted to reach. I wish they would put it outside of the strip, like they did the LED switch that turns on the LED lights, which is more accessible but for me, less used than the on/off switches. Overall a nice set of speakers at this price point, but would be greatly improved with more accessible power switches and improved bass on the sound.
