I thought this visor was blurry, so at first I only gave it one star, but it's fine when you remove the protective film on BOTH sides. Meanwhile I purchased a more expensive one which is no better, so it serves me right. In fact I prefer the blue smoke tint of the Zento to the brownish tint of the second one. Besides being a great bargain, the Zento is super easy to attach to the car's visor. I could use the extra one for a passenger, but I never have passengers. I don't know how I missed the second protective film, but I hope to prevent anyone else from making the same mistake.

initially, i was concerned that the visor was not dark enough but upon use, i discovered that it was very effective! really pleased with it and now that i'm driving into the sun when commuting home, it's a total life saver!found probably my ideal way of driving into the sun - cover the top half of this visor with duct tape! this pretty much allows you to see the whole road but blocks out the sky and the sun completely. when you're at a stop light, it will also block out the state of the stop light but then you can just lean toward it slightly to see when the light turns green and then lean back again and get sun protection as you drive off. and you can use a piece of cardboard instead of duct tape to make it less permanent... but with that one adjustment, this is really a perfect gadget to drive during sunset and sunrise when you're aimed into the sun.

This item is, as the 3 stars denote, ok. It seems just slightly better that nothing when driving east into the early morning sun. The rest of the time, it just makes everything sort of hazy (yes, the packing films have been removed). Ironically (to me), is that as soon as I drive into a shaded area, the haze disappears and the view is clear. Mine arrived with a scratch. I could have returned it for a replacement; however, the scratch is not within my range of vision. I did not lower my star rating because of it. If nothing else, I think this would work to help eliminate the bright Florida sun on the riders window so I'm keeping it. It does fit my visor (CMax Energi--renown for its minuscule visors) well and securely. It seems sturdy and is highly adjustable. I chose this particular brand as it had the best reviews. I really can't imaging what the others are like.

It took me a while to figure out how to attach this to my sun-visor, there were not directions. I went on line and found the actual manufacturer and there was a few photos of it that enabled me to figure it out. I thought it was a little dark, but it worked great when driving into the sun. However, I could not see through it too well. I drove around for a few weeks like that until I realized there was a light removable film attached to both sides to protect the plastic. Once the light film was removed, it improved the visibility 100% while in use. Blocks the glare very well.

I was searching for a sun shade for my driver's side window to prevent more sun damage to the left side of my face. This works great!I clipped it to my visor so this shade folds up behind the visor so I can still use my visor mirror and access my biz cards.Now when I move my visor to my side window I can lower this too to fully cover the window and block the sun.However, if I lower my visor for the windshield and drop this down too, it sits very low, almost touching my steering wheel....guess my visor is bigger than standard? Haven't tried it yet but won't use it for the windshield if I feel it might inhibit my driving but it would work great on the passenger side for short people!

I'm giving this 4 out of 5 stars because I think its a bit overpriced for what it is, two pieces of plastic. But it does what it says it will do and seems very sturdy.PROS: this does filter out badly angled sunlight while allowing you to see the road ahead.CONS: The clip is a bit clunky and can, if you're a tall person like me, kind of get in your field of view when not in use.ADVICE: I found that as a tall person, the recommended placement of clipping to the edge of the car's visor furthest away from you, does not work. that creates a gap where the sun still streams directly into your eyes on low sun positions. HOWEVER, if you reverse it and have the clip closest to you on the more inside edge, when you fold it down, the combination of the existing car visor and this visor gives you complete coverage.

The sun visor extension arrived as promised and in good condition. It is pretty easy to install as you just basically clip it onto the visor of the car. It does render the mirror on the visor useless, though it is not that hard to clip and unclip the visor extension. I have used it for about 3 days now on both the driver and the passenger side. The clip seems to stay on. Once in a while I do have to push it back in a little bit. I have not had the occasions of driving with it when the sun is right in my eyes (I am short) but I think it should be just fine. I do like the fact that it is extending the shade for several inches and you can definitely use it with the visor at the side window.

I bought this to combat the early morning sun during the commute to work. I took the advise of one of the other reviewers and clipped it to the front of my visor which then acted like a visor extension. Worked perfectly! I could see the road very clearly and not blinded. I could adjust it by moving the car visor or the clipped visor so there was maximum coverage. I still needed to put my sun glasses on for the worst glare, but I think that's to be expected. I left the visor down for the entire commute (2.5 hours) and it made the trip a much safer and pleasant one.

It is a good sunvisor; really nice to have when sun is bright.
