Gave me dry mouth
I used this before bed and it totally depleted any moisture I had in my mouth, and my mouth was still dry the next morning. It's a shame because I love the oil pulling rinse, but this was just too drying.

Use caution if having periodontal issues or treatment.
I’ve used this toothpaste for over a year now, and I always liked it. However, due to sinus allergies and infection, I’m undergoing serious dental work, having lost some bones and having old crowns removed, a few extractions, etc. I’m not sure if it is the need or the mint, but I have severe reaction to this toothpaste after using it because, as Im figuring it out, my gums are still healing and very sensitive. I had bone grafting and anti-biopics on the lower arch, and bridge work on the upper arch. It took me about a week to eliminate anything suspicious but I stopped using the toothpaste and no longer have the intense pain in my jaws, gums, chin. I can only conclude that’s something in the toothpaste, as my dentist said I should already be past the sensitivities that are normal with the kind of work being done. This is also the reason for the four stars but I would have given five. I’m just warning folks that if you are having dental work, you might experience a reaction, maybe from the neem. I’m just cautioning anyone considering buying it to consider your gum health. If you have severe sinus allergies, because some sinuses are positioned near the upper bone of the mouth, you may have pain and won’t necessarily think it’s the toothpaste. Perhaps talk to your dentist.
