swell-free! ... feet & calf compression, all-in-one! 👍🏼
these are effective and well-made open-toed calf and feet compression sleeves aka toe-less compression socks! 👍🏼previously, i had utilized compression footies along with calf compression sleeves, which is very effective... i have als and have to manage lower extremity inflammation, as a consequence... also, the als is continually borrowing my strength and energy, so i needed to make the process more strength & energy conservative... to that end, i found this item, but, i was not optimistic that they would be a good fit and have even compression, due to covering such a long, variable area and especially as the combination of separate footies and calf sleeves have yielded a custom fit and worked so very effectively...... well, very much to my surprise, this item well exceeded my expectations! ... and, these are just superb!... the fit is outstanding, they are easy to pull on (even with very weak als hands & fingers), and my feet and calves are swell-free all-day, when i wear these throughout my bedtime... | specific observations | • quality & design: superb! each sleeve is identical and exceptionally well made with seamless (yes!) seams or hems at the top and bottom, such that the inside and outside are identical... further, the material is very robust and very smooth, with no hanging or loose threads, nothing to snag, and the seamless top and bottom hems are incredibly well executed; the hems are very smooth with compression that is even and about the same as the bulk of the item...as such, the hems feel about the same as everywhere else! • heal cup: very well placed and very effectlve. • compression: not too tight, but just right to remove inflammation, w/o affecting circulation… a very elastic, yet tightly woven material • fit: excellent; the hems cross at the bones (metatarsals) just before your toes and the smallest point just below your knee, above your calves... an ideal location for both and, as such, the hems are very comfortable at both the top and the bottom; not too tight and, unlike most compression item hems, these hems DO NOT create hot spots of higher compression and they are barely discernible, often forgetting they are on, though they do the job of keeping the sleeves in place... | note: measure per the measurement instructions, and order according to the size chart on the item detail page, and you should experience a good fit : i where an 11 shoe with 16" calves and i ordered a xxl... though they are not super tight, they are tight enough to reduce inflammation, while remaining very comfortable and easy to pull on | • comfort: they feel wonderful! ... i sleep in them about 12 hours/day and they are still very comfortable after those hours of wear... • durability: the material is very strong, they are exceptionally well-made, and they are anticipated to be very long-lasting... • ease of pulling on: very easy; just pull the top hem along withe thhamaterial between top hem and ankle until your heal fits in the heal cup, then pull the remainder to the smallest diameter just under your knee... arrange the botttom hem across the metatarsal bones just before your toes...and, you are good to go... very easy, even with someone with very weak hands and fingers due to age, arthritis, or disease... • performance: they really do the job of eliminating inflammation!again, my intention was to reduce lower extremities inflammation, that is a consequence of the als necessities of sleeping on a high incline for respiration and confined to a wheelchair.... well, with these all-in-one compression sleeves/socks, i am living swell-free! 👍🏼very pleased, Thank you. :-)ps . when time, energy, & strength permit, i also use compression footies in conjunction with calf compression sleeves... this alternative is slightly more effective, as you can achieve an ideal, custom fit and the compression is higher, yet much more strength & energy (& time) is required to don the 4 sleeves... often, this is considerably more energy & strength than the elderly, arthritic, or the muscularly diseased (md, ms, als, ...) are able to muster... so, this foot and calf compression combo is a much faster, strength & energy conserving alternative, that still yields excellent inflammation reduction and elimination! but, if time, energy, and hand/finger strength is not an issue for you and you want to ensure an ideal, custom fit by spltting up your feet and calves, as well as the flexibility of wearing just the footies or just the calf sleeves, then the "separate footies and calf sleeves" alternative is likely a better option for you... if so, please find, below, some tried and true items, that, after many hours of use and many washings (cold wash/hang dry ^), remain high performing and highly durable; ◻︎ a couple brands of outstanding compression footies; Gr8 Sport + Life Unisex Plantar Fasciitis Ankle Compression Sleeve Socks, Pink, Large OR SB SOX Compression Foot Sleeves for Men & Women - BEST Plantar Fasciitis Socks for Plantar Fasciitis Pain Relief, Heel Pain, and Treatment for Everyday Use with Arch Support (White, Large) in order to continue the compression to the knee, the following are outstanding calf compression sleeves, used in tandem with the compression footies; Calf Sleeves Pink L/XL OR Calf Compression Sleeves - Leg Compression Socks Relieve Calf Pain for Men, Women and Runners, Calf Guard for Running, Cycling, Travel, Nurses Circulation & Recovery - 1 Pair( X-Large .Black) .... these are both 5⭐️ calf compression sleeves and, along with compression footies, they entirely eliminate lower extremity inflammation! 👍🏼^ important tip on washing and drying . | wash in cold water, gentle cycle, and immediately, while they are still damp, hand form and hand flatten the hems, then hang or lay flat to dry. otherwise, the seamless hollow hems will dry open and malformed, making for a monumental task to get them on and the hems flattened out... it is ~30 seconds per hem and the ~2 minute operation is well worth it! lasttly, they dry very fast... so, it is advisable to take them out of the washer immediatelly, while they are still damp |at last and with much less ado, best wishes to finding the right item(s) to achieve your swell-free life! :-)i have been very pleased with all the items linked above and this item has been very effective, while conserving some much limited and treasured strength & energy.Thank you. :-)

After about three months of wear, elastic has started to wear out
These are comfortable and initially perform quite well. Unfortunately, after several months the elastic at the top of the socks has started to come undone. There are constant loose threads. As a sufferer of post-thrombotic syndrome, I wear a compression sock all the time, excluding showers. While these may have undergone a more rigorous, constant treatment with me than most, I would still expect more product life than i received. Still, they performed admirably before they started to wear out.

Cost less
These work just as well as the expensive ones I got from the medical supply store

Yikes!
Well I’m going to say they are exactly as described. And that is true! I’ve never owned a pair so - I think the only downside to this is the length. On my legs the ones I received would come up halfway my kneecap! I’m unsure if this is normal. Trying to get them on isn’t fun either but I’m told that is the norm lol! Sizing is exactly right for what I ordered. Just wish they weren’t so long.

Very Comfortable
I have Ankylosing Spondylitis and these sick don’t stop but absolutely help with leg swelling and nerve pain. I also have a collapsed spine, Fibromyalgia, and Crohn’s Disease which all come with multiple issues of swelling and pain. These definitely help with the all around effects.

Feels good
Great product, I had leg vein problems and swelling issues, tried many expensive and different compression socks, for me these work great, feel naked with out them on, put them on first thing in the morning and take them off when I go to bed, not supposed to wear them when laying down, very good compression, Great price bought two more pair.

Good Support and Comfortable
I love them! I work all day at the computer and even though I jump between standing and sitting I still had swollen ankles/legs at the end of the day. These sleeves have completely stopped the problem, and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely buy more in the future and suggest them to anyone experiencing a similar problem.

Works as expected!
I like these socks, i use them as work out socks and they are very comfortable, yet provide excellent compression with no tight spots. I travel throughout the U.S and compression socks are vital to my travels. Whether I'm flying or driving they come in great hand to avoid any fatigue or clots from forming etc that you can get from everyday long distance travel or evennif you're at your desk or on your feet. I always recommend compression socks to everyone. Hope this helps.
