Great scissors! I use these to cut my Dad's hair from time to time and they are great. They are very sharp, and get the job done fast.

These scissors were okay. I used them to give myself a pandemic/quarantine haircut because I felt like I was being strangled by my hair and I just couldn't stand it anymore. The scissors can't cut very much at a time. I have really thick hair and put it in a unicorn ponytail at the front of my head (to get a layered cut, based on an internet video), so it was all in a thick bunch. I'm sure this is not ideal for cutting hair. It took 6-8 snips to cut through the entire bunch. I imagine professionals don't do it this way, so part of the issue was definitely my method. Since I wasn't able to make "clean" cuts, I'm certain my hair is uneven, but this was my first time and I have curly hair, so it's probably not that noticeable. Since we're still subject to stay-at-home orders for the foreseeable future, no one really sees me anyway. And, frankly, I don't really care. I'm not a high-maintenance hair person, so I might continue giving myself haircuts post-pandemic. All my facebook friends were impressed with the results, and I was actually pretty pleased too. So money well spent in my opinion.

I bought these scissors based on other people's positive reviews. However in my own experience they are not as sharp in the last one and a half inch of the blades. My other old pair came with a set of electric hair clippers. And although those were cheap in appearance they were extremely sharp and easy to maneuver.Some of the reviews said these were really sharp. That wasn't my experience. although they were sharp they just simply didn't seem sharper than any other pair of economic sissors.In wanting to do spikes using the tips of the scissors they are not as handy. I have to use more of the mid blades or towards the base which is inconvenient. Thesee have such tiny finger holes I found it a little awkward. the base of the blades work well but towards the end by the tips it just did not seem as sharp. Still, they worked pretty good and I was able to do my own hair and my husband's although again there's just something about this pair that was not very sharp. Otherwise I would have given it five stars.

It works but the blue cushions stink. Additionally it didn't come with a case or bag so I'm stuck using the plastic sleeve it came in from amazon. Next time I will buy one with a case.

These scissors are made with a good quality are easy to use and a good price...

"Razor edge," and "Ice tempered," as garbage marketing terms, I'm a machinist, I know.Still, for $11 these are wonderful. No, they don't even come close to a professional hair-cutter's scissors, but then those scissors must last for weeks between sharpening. This one only needs to last for 1/50th of a professional cutter's scissors. They are made in Pakistan and looking very closely, they look it. The scissors are not finely lapped. Still, my wife cut my hair (Pandemic hair-cut which went very, very fine--I'm impressed) and will continue to do so in the future. With a tip a hair-cut costs me $16. Therefore, the cost is paid back from one cut, wow!They don't need to be fine diamond lapped. They likely are not "ice tempered," and let's face it, the best stainless steel doesn't even come close to a good high carbon steel in hardness. But it does NOT matter. They are sharp and I suppose "razor sharp" is OK even though the geometry is not anywhere similar to a razor. I suspect they will last without sharpening for 50-100 haircuts.

These sissors cut hair completely straight all the way to the very tip. I love them! Highly recommended!

I have type 4 natural hair that has been desperately in need of a trim and I haven’t been able to get one due to quarantine. I decided to purchase these inexpensive shears and do the job myself. Though I am no professional, I was able to get a clean, even cut using these shears. They are very sharp and seem to be very durable - also very easy to clean. My hair is so much more manageable after getting rid of the dead ends and it was so easy with this product that I may say myself some money and continue trimming my own hair!

The first one is still gd I just to keep an extra in case my kids lost this one… I cut my kids hair and have been using this for few years now no complaints and no issues at all and one of my kids have very thick hair

sharp and comfortable to hold but whatever the material on the circular finger holes are smelly and haven't been able to remove the stench though have now washed them several times
