As good as they get... and inexpensive to boot!!!
So far so good. 16 burns, no failures.Using Pioneer BD209, and BurnAware Free, at max speed (in this case 7x to 7.4x). I will definitely order these again... soon.Update: Make that 36 and no failures.Update 2: I'm now into the second order of these disks without a coaster. Add to that a consistent burn speed of 7.2X, and you have a winner. Not enough time has passed (a few months) to determine data retention, but will check back if I have a problem.Update 3: 3 packs down, still no failures. I'm impressed.Update 3: Second spindle done. 1 failure (my fault). Great product. Ready to reorder.Final Update: Wow, These are a fantastic value. Several spindles now without a problem. 7x burns, not a problem. Data retention after 1 year, 100%.

These discs seem to be of the highest quality and love being able to use them for recording family movies, vacation photostories, etc.

Been great so far
I have burned over 150 now working towards 200 on a Pioneer Blu ray using Img Burn. I like HTL or the darker recording surface as it's supposed to be better for longevity. I am converting most of my movies to mp4 for quality and smaller size, I do have a SFF pc connected to my big screen tv. All of the Vampire Diaries series fit on 4 blu ray discs. I am however trying some SmartBuy blurays as they are $9 cheaper and are supposed to be HTL. Guess I'll find out in 2 weeks when they get here. If they aren't, or if there is a problem, I'll be back to these.

It's not perfect, but it'll do.
The spindle of discs arrived quickly. Used with LG WP40NB30 (firmware CW01), burned at 4X or 6X. Will be using the discs primarily for backup. This was my first spindle of BD-R and I wanted to test out the water without overspending on BD-R media. The first two discs turned out to be coasters, but I suspect may be the fault of Acronis TrueImage 2014 (doing a partition backup in Windows). Subsequent discs seem to burn fine so far using CyberLink Power2Go.The media code identified by DVDInfoPro is OTCBDR002, which appears to be Optodisc. The BD CRC Read Error Test in DVDInfoPro returned 0 bad sectors and 0 suspect sectors; so this seems to be good news.At the end of the day, good price for the quantity. May consider purchasing more if the rest of the spindle burns fine.

Recommended! Shows a high contrast between 1/0 on the disc, fast write speed
I have only used a few, but no defects so far. The media is HTL, so it may be inorganic, but no official info. The reflectivity is better than other HTL and the write contrast is much better than other blu-ray discs. It registers quickly when inserted, a good indicator of readability. My recorder will write these at 8x, and they are officially rated to work at 8 to 12x speeds depending on the recorder - great speed!I have now burned 100 discs. I had 2 defective discs, very reasonable for a cheaply priced product. They work just fine on the four players tested, included an old flaky player that has difficulty with many discs.

Good discs at a good price!
I have had very few coasters with these! Of course, there will ALWAYS be the occasional bad disc (even from Verbatim!), but these are the best bang for the buck you're going to find!

I improved the function of my Dell 7071 with this writer.
I have made many backup disks with these, not of my operating system, (MX LINUX) but of the many pictures, music and schematic drawings that I have down loaded. I then delete them from my SS HD since I read that full SS HDs fail way more frequently than half full drives. Properly labeled and printing the directories of the disks means that I can insert the correct disk and retrieve the proper file in a very few minutes. I have zero problems using these disks at a their value prices.I am a experienced CD-R (data and music) + DVD writer/user. Ron W4BIN

Update: After moderate success with one 50-pack, tried a second one. Burned four discs randomly picked from the top & middle of the spindle. Burned at speeds ranging from 2x to 6x in two different optical drives. Three discs failed during the write process. One burn at 4x finished but failed verification in IMGBurn & CDCheck. After 4 of 4 failures, I just requested a return.Original review:Tried one 50-pack of PlexDisc logo-top 6x discs after a long hiatus when the brand's quality seemed to decline. When burning at the rated 6x, failure rate was approaching a highly unacceptable 50%. When I reduced the burn speed to 4x, in two different optical drives the success rate improved to 100%.Disc ID OTCBDR-002-000, same as Optical Quantum. At 6x Optical Quantum & Plex blanks are unreliable for me in LG & Pioneer BDR drives. At 4x Optical Quantum media are unreliable for me but strangely Plex discs do appear to be stable & reliable.

Reliable
I use these for archiving data files for graphic arts. They burn very reliably, seldom any writing problems or wasted disks.

More than 50% of the disk are not usable
I have countercheck with the disk from another source which more expensive but give a 100% burn success rate, it seems that no point to save a 30% cost but end up 50% of the disk not usable with all the time wasted on keep trying.
