It’s better than I imagined. I first went through Verizon store and purchased the one they sold, returned next day as it shut off 10 minutes after putting it up. I was hesitant about getting this one but so far it has worked perfectly. The pictures are good quality and I haven’t had any issues at all.

I have purchased the Link Dark V camera in anticipation of better quality photos than the Link EVO I also have. The first Link Dark failed entirely; it would not power up. The replacement second Link Dark camera that I have now will not connect to the cell network, has a defective flash that does not work, and the photos recorded on the flash drive are intermittently blank and then good. The concept of the camera is good but the maker has a lot of work to do in solving the software problems. I do not recommend this camera at this time. I am going to purchase the reliable Link EVO as a replacement.

This camera works very well once you take a little time to dial in the settings. The app is user friendly, it seems dependable and durable enough, and the photos are ok. I was disappointed to discover that there are no video settings and you are stuck with 10FPS. The vids are a respectable 1920x1080 but what's the point when they're 10FPS? The motion is very choppy and streaky and defeats the purpose of the high-pixel count. If you're not picky about video quality and just want to see what's going on, it may be fine for you, but unfortunately I need a higher quality framerate and I am returning the camera.

This is my second SPYPOINT Link camera that I bought and added to my hunting land. It was easy to set up and add to my existing account. I love the capability of monitoring my land and deer from 1000 miles away. The pictures are descent but much better when you pull the SD card and download the traditional way. Having the added feature of night vision is a great bonus too.

I put one of these on my farm, which has pretty good Verizon service, for being rural. Usually, the camera shows two or three bars of service. The camera takes pictures, but only about half of them transmit to my phone. Also, the GPS feature does not work. The pictures also have a weird green tint to them if the lighting is low. Customer service was a joke. All they want to say is ," turn the camera off and on, or perform a factory reset". Most of my "free" month of service has been used trying to work out the problems.

Love the camera , works great .The company selling them has outstanding customer service , very quick response of questions. I’d purchase from them again and again !

I like the link dark because of spypoints free monthly plan. The pictures are great quality and its easy to set up.

Another very sad situation wqith a so-called good camera. Spent over 3 hours on phone with tech support with no accomplishments in resolving issues of camera not working. That was enough for me to send it back and not require a replacement. did not want to have to wait weeks for another cam to see if it would work seeing that the hunting season would be pretty much over.
