What length olympic adapter is this? 8" or more? Also, do 45lb plates fit next to each other on this? Looks a bit tight

The 8" adapters will be too short. But, you don't need the adapters because the standard Olympic plates will easily fit over the existing posts. Forty-five pound plates will fit if you put one on each end post and you can put smaller plates on the middle post. Frankly, as I found out, you don't need the adapters since the large plates will be much easier to take on and off using the existing posts. With the adapters the fit is very tight and it will be difficult to lift those plates off, whereas the smaller posts will allow for easier access. Also, the large plates will not move around much with the existing posts because they weigh enough to be stable. Also, you might want to put pillows around the head rest because it is not very comfortable and seems to be designed for someone exactly 6' tall and tends to put my head into an uncomfortable position. I suggest not assembling the head rest at all and just use large pillows instead and then you can modify it to your own size. Finally, get some axel grease and slather it on the sliding bars or this thing will squeal like a stuck pig without the grease for lubrication. Otherwise, once you modify it with pillows and axel grease, this is a pretty good unit for the price -- just don't expect to pile on more than about 300 lbs or it will start to feel wobbly. I use it with less than 200 lbs and it works just fine for the money.

how long is the adapter sleeves??

The sleeve itself is 8.25" long; however, the more relevant measurement is when the sleeve is in place on top of the post on the machine: since the sleeve is shorter than the post, when in place the sleeve does not rest flush on the bottom on the platform, it is about 1" short, allowing for 9" of usable stacking space for the plates. Since there are three posts, this allows for way more weight to be put on the machine than can reasonably be expected to be practible for the at home lifter; let's put it this way: if you can press more weight than can be safely stacked on this machine, you need to be in a super equipped commercial gym, not using this device for your workouts. Also, just in case it is not obvious, the sleeves are held securely in place with an inset hex head bolt, mine haven't moved at all in weekly use for well over a year. Hope this helps!

Could you do one legged presses on this or would the machine be too wobbly?

Yep! We regularly use this rig for 1 legged presses with 400+lbs. It seems to handle it no worries. We've had our unit for 2 years now.

Does this leg press work for very huge guys (6 feet, 6.74 inches tall)? Thanks in adavance.

I would think so. I'm 6'1" and there is plenty of up and down travel for me. I can't guarantee it, but I'm guessing there would be another 6 inches of vertical travel - I don't think you would max out the pushing height. You might see if you can contact the manufacturer direct to make certain.
