Perfect! Much better than that famous brand of dry erase markers!
Our college uses Expo markers. They were fine, but lately, they do not seem to last long, and the colors are much lighter. I bought these Pilot markers just to try them out. The ink color of these Pilot markers is bold, and it has a nice hue. The other plus is the availability of refills. I have not tested these. I will post later once I have a good idea of the longevity of the original marker, and the longevity of the refills. My review of the pens after 12 weeks of use: The ink in the original pen lasted 8 lecture sessions (I mostly use PowerPoints lectures - use of whiteboard is moderate). The first replacement ink cartridge lasted half-as-long (just 4 lecture sessions). A bit of a disappointment, but I will still give high marks for the boldness and hue of the ink. And the ink did not start to become faint until the ink in the cartridge was exhausted. Also, initially the pen was uncomfortable to handle due to the wider girth (wider than Expo markers), but with time I became used to it, and the thicker barrel was no longer an issue. Would I order more ink cartridges? Yes, I would. From my students' point of view, now they can clearly see my scribbles (mostly chemical and biochemical equations and calculations) from the back of the lecture room. And, that is a plus!

Teacher Approved
I’ve been teaching middle school for 30 years, so I’ve used my fair share of dry erase markers. These dry erase markers are 1000% better than Expo markers! They write cleanly, dry quickly, and are easy to erase. I especially love that you can see how much ink you have left before you need to put in a refill.

Helpful, but worth it?
This marker always marks brighter than any other whiteboard markers I have used. You never have a "dry moment" after a sentence of writing where the marker seemed fresh but peters out as you continue. Changing the cartridge is pretty easy, though you have to look closely to make sure you are actually out. However, I am still evaluating the cost effectiveness of these markers and their eco-friendliness. The cartridges are hard to find and buy in bulk, and are still more expensive per unit than a regular Expo. The main problem with Expos is that they dry out on their own, which this marker doesn't. It does seem that the ink is used up more quickly (I have about four classes a day and write pretty extensively on the board) and these last me a little over a week per cartridge. In terms of eco-friendliness, each cartridge comes wrapped in plastic and you still throw away the cartridge. After I use the cartridges up I will test out a very eco friendly option, the Aus Pen.

Way better coverage than the usual makers
These are forever my favorite. They are thick, dark, and last so much longer than the usual school brand. I can usually get one set to last a year (with refills).

Teacher's best friend
I despise burning through dry erase markers. The plastic waste is baffling, but I simply cannot go 100% digital in my classroom setting. These are the next best thing. They write clearly and are durable enough for several refills per marker. I admit a great sense of satisfaction each time I refill them.

Great product!!!
Oh my goodness. I love these dry erase markers. The ink flows so well, and the cartridge was long lasting and then easy to replace. I love that they are refillable and that I can reuse the marker!

Good for teaching
Very convienent, easy to use/install. Just feel like they don’t last very long ... but in all fairness ... I am a high school math teacher that uses them daily.
