Great little laptop for toddlers
Once my neice was about 10 months old and reached the age where she found pleasure in banging on laptop keyboards and opening and closing the laptop screen for enjoyment, I figured it was time to get her a "laptop" of her own play with. At first this VTech Laptop served the same purpose as a regular laptop...opening, closing, and banging on the buttons. Now 2 months later she is just about 1 year old and starting to actually explore things a little more so she is finding more enjoyment is pressing the buttons to enjoy the sounds, songs, and lights on the laptop toy. This was exactly why I purchased this for her, so as she grew she would be able to use it as a learning tool which is exactly what she is starting to do. This is a great little toy, it's durable and provides plenty of entertainment...not to mention deterring from playing with the big kids laptop!

baby's laptop
We purchased this for our 2 year old granddaughter's birthday. She loves it! She has several educational activities to choose from and she talks or sings right along. The mouse, buttons and keys are very user friendly for her little hands. The overall size is very appropriate and she can easily carry it. The voices and sounds are very clear. The two volume control is a great feature. Love the English and Spanish feature. The price is very reasonable. Excellent gift idea for little ones.

Super Durable, engaging sounds, boring screen.
I purchased this toy in a desperate attempt to save my own laptop from my 6 month old. She loves to bang on the keys of my laptop whenever it’s open and I thought if she had her own, perhaps we could both get some “work” done in peace. Alas, she still prefers to bang on my laptop. However, she does enjoy this toy.She has definitely grown into it more at 20 months. She likes all three modes and I like that it has volume control. The mouse is an actual mouse that loves (very cute). One somewhat freaky downside is if the laptop is closed, but powered on and you accidentally hit the mouse or jiggle any part of it - it begs you to “Open the laptop to learn”. Great if you know it’s there or the kid is playing with it (banging it around) with the kid closed. Freaky if it’s in the middle of the night and gets jostled somehow and you hear that freaky voice from nowhere. This thing is durable. I have had it for over a year now and LO has thrown it banged it, spent the first few months just lifting the lid and slamming it down again (not gently) and so forth. I was sure it would not last a year, but it’s still ticking.Downside, the screen is like light up dots - probably helps with durability, but doesn’t really make it realistic. It also kind of Boring (the screen). It doesn’t light up different colors or engage all that much. It flashes and scrolls. They should definitely work on that for a next version. Boring screen made it lose one star overall.Songs are catchy. I find myself singing them at work “1,2,3,4,5 circles, triangles, squares ....” and so on. Blessing and a curse. Little one likes to play on the piano keys and it will sound out a song while she plays. For a minute I thought my kid was a prodigy playing row row your boat - then I realized she didn’t have enough notes on the keyboard... Alas, I bet hearing it while she “plays” makes her feel smart. All in all, a good purchase.

Great present.
I got these at a great price so it was a great gift for a little 1 year old girl. She likes it. We got the same one as a gift that year too from someone else. So we have used it and heard it is loved by the friend. Easy for my 1 year old to open on her own in the toy pile. Easy enough for her to mess with buttons to get it turned on. Entertains her a few minutes at a time as to be expected. Seems to withstand a good tossing around too!

Highly recommend
I purchased this learning laptop for my 14 mo. I must say I am impressed. It's developmentally appropriate with its large buttons, bright colors and clear sound. I was a bit concerned with the size of the screen but to my surprise It in the perfect size! This product is durable yet light weight and easy to take on the go.

Great laptop for 1-2 year old.
Perfect gift for my 18 month old daughter, she loves to imitate mommy and daddy on her laptop. Buttons are big enough for little fingers and the construction of the laptop is solid in case little ones like to toss their toys around. We had this same model for our son and it lasted 3 years before the battery wore out. There is no actual games on this, so I would not recommend for children older than 2. This toy is more just for lights, sounds and music.

Perfect for teaching both English and Spanish very basic words, counting, alphabet, shapes and colors.
OMG, so perfect for my friend's one year old. This will be a birthday gift. It didn't cost much and the sounds are very clear and concise. Of course it doesn't have hundreds of things to say, but hey it's less than $20. I consider it money well spent! Thanks VTech for another great product.

Not working properly
After reading the reviews about this product found it suitable for my two year daughter. Initially it worked good for a month but now it keeps getting stuck at vtech logo when u push any botton. Not worth the money I would say.
