i bought three pairs in total (brown, dark blue and steely blue) and they are fab! All XL (bit too long to be honest, but i didn't check the measurements, i just wanted big as possible and now probably have to hem them up a bit, silly me) but that's better then too short in my book - i am 5"7'. i liked the fabric, thin enough to be cool, thick enough to have plenty of life in them, and a pocket. Wish they'd do the colour-safe wash themselves though (in batches as they surely dye the fabric this way?) as washing three pairs separately (with whatever i could find of similar colours) is not ideal - in truth they didn't seem to run at all but based on other's findings in reviews and the instructions in the packages, i thought i'd better do this. All in all though, i'm chuffed, have worn through my 'authentic' (beach-bought!) Thai pants over lockdown and these are a perfect replacement and cheaper than a trip to Thailand...

I bought these in white because I've been searching for years for something like those very loose-fit natural linen trousers that were fashionable about 10-15 years ago and which went all the way to the floor - I loved mine and wore them every summer until they finally fell to pieces! So, I got these in XL in the hope that they'd be a good substitute - they were cheap enough that I didn't mind too much if they didn't work out but I was really pleased!They're easy to put on - but the cords at the back, pull them up, make an "S"-shaped pleat at the front by pulling the middle of the waistband at the front straight forward with your left hand then putting a finger of right hand half way along the righthand edge and pressing that totally perpendicular (so in a diagonal line right to left, heading towards your body, landing left of your bellybutton), once you reach your body, your left hand should bring that edge to touch your body on the right of your bellybutton. Next, holding the pleat in place with right hand now, use left hand to grab the left cord and bring it around your left side, all the way round to the right-hand side of your waist. Now just bring the other cord round and tie them together on your right hip, then fold the cloth down over it the cord - easy!They fit me quite loosely around the legs and I can wear them dragging on the floor or a bit higher up so they are just off of the floor but they're lovely and loose and I think good in the summer as plenty of air-flow. The white ones wash fine at 30*C - I added an optical whitener to keep them looking very white - and I had no issues with drying them etc in the tumble-dryer on cool.The fabric is a little see-through in the white version so best not to go commando. White underwear might be best as black will show through them really easily. By far the most comfortable summer trouser I have bought in many, many years. So glad I've discovered this type of garment!

I've bought two pairs of these now, the "XL" version are the only Thai trousers I've found which are really full length on me (6'0). Others generally stop above the ankles which isn't a style I like. The quality is good, they are fairly thin cotton as is typical for such trousers.The downside is that the colours are not really anything like what's shown in the listing, and they also change colour significantly the first time you wash them (so don't put them in with your whites!). I ended up re-dying one pair to get a colour I liked. Basically if you're relying on getting the exact shade shown in the listing you're likely to be disappointed.

I've used thai pants for years and it's really hard to get them in the right, strong but light cotton, and long in the leg - these are what I've been looking for for years. Light but tough cotton, good colours that will fade out nicely in the wash to give that lived in look, and they are nice and long - I'm 5 feet 6 inches tall, female, and dont like it when trousers flap around my ankles. These are great - just ordered another three pairs.

Only negative side us that they always loose the dye very quickly buf the quality I'd good otherwise. Just dont look thd same when they are washed. Faded.

I'm 6'1" with a 40" waist and i found the trousers fit ok as they can be adjusted length wise, although i would of liked 2" more leg length and 5" more waist overlap.Material is thin and slightly see-through in a silhouette fashion of 25 % transparency so make sure you slips some undies on, unless you want people to glance you tackle in strong sunlight :)
