I have paid hundreds of dollars over the years to professionals to get rid of the aphids and lace bugs on my Crepe Myrtles and Azaleas. I applied one treatment of this as directed to them after spraying them with the Bio Advance Insect spray. It is now about two weeks later and the bugs are gone and they are all thriving and for a fraction of the cost. I likewise treated two rose bushes that had severe black spots and had lost almost all their leaves. They are now sprouting new leaves and look much better; I hope they recover.

Leaf sucking bugs hate this stuff. I have used this for years on rhododendrons, escallonia, camellias, laurels, azaleas and even my annuals to fertilize and prevent insects from damaging the plants. You do have to use a lot on larger plants and gently work it into the top soil but its worth the minor effort. It does take a couple weeks to begin working so monitor your plants closely or use as a preventative before infestations start. I typically use other fertilizers in the spring time and this in early summer. I have also attempted to use this on hostas to determine if it deters slugs and snails but it does not work or has limited results.

I have been using this product on my rose collection for at least 5 years. I think it makes a big difference, no problems at all with our beautiful roses. I gave it 4 stars due to the lid is impossible to open and always has been. I use a tool and break off the 2 "tabs" so I can open and close the lid. The lid needs to be redesigned.

I use this on my rose bushes, and they are thriving. I have climbing roses, and my goal is to train them to grow over a 6-foot block wall, as I live on a busy street. It's a balance of soil quality, water, and feeding. My roses respond to this amount, and they are indeed to the top of the wall. I put about a capful around the base of each plant, scattering it around the root line. I then soak the ground. This works for my roses.
