It’s Perfect!
Wow! Why did I ever spent 3/4 of the cost of this machine on a piece-of-junk k-cup machine? It stopped working in a year and had no features to recommend it. This machine is absolutely fabulous! I got a used one and it is a dream. I love it. I love it so much I’d buy a few more just to allow them to sit on the counters in their boxes. Sorta dress my kitchen in Cuisnarts! I don’t see how you could go wrong. Great machine, great price, tons of features! This is the one I want to be buried with.

Strange user-unfriendly design
I bought this coffee maker after my latest Keurig product died, based on a Consumer Reports review. I don't know why CR graded this maker favorably. Really the only features I liked about it are the dual drip/cup capabilities and the charcoal water filter for each reservoir. But that's where the convenience ends. The drip reservoir is internal, and the ridiculously TINY opening for filling it is behind the coffee filter opening, guaranteeing that you will spill water into the filter and all over the countertop behind the machine each time you try to fill it. Condensation on the inside of the drip reservoir lid runs down the back of the machine onto the countertop when it is raised. The lid on the glass carafe snaps on and off with a couple of tiny clips instead of lifting on a hinge like you would expect. The transparent reservoir for the K-cup side of the machine is removable, but it's on the back of the machine, so you can't see the water level and it's difficult to remove and replace without spilling or dropping. It has a bail handle in the top, which seems like a good idea, but the handle is too flimsy for the weight of a full reservoir and mine broke on the first use. The reservoir on my machine also leaked slowly onto the countertop which was the final straw that sent this machine back to the vendor for a refund. Knobs on the front of the machine are small and flimsy-feeling. The K-cup side does not have a control for brew strength, and the nozzle sprays coffee all over the surrounding countertop when it is in use.

Constantly working
Often it decides not to work , it’s very frustrating. I’d like to reach the manufacturer or store

Don't purchase if you want something long lasting
The k- cup part never worked properly and the whole machine quit working after 8 months. It was nice while it worked, but not worth it.

Space saver!
I really wanted to try this machine despite some negative reviews. I purchased this refurbished coffee maker and am glad I did! It is in perfect condition and came with all the factory original accessories, absolutely no signs of wear. Love the removable pod side water reservoir and separate water filter. Despite reviews that complained of pod splattering, I use a tall mug not a tea cup and don't have any issues. One trick I found is to place the pod and puncture, then remove pod and rotate to puncture a second time for a smoother flow and a stronger flavor. The full pot side also has a filter, it is a little awkward to fill with water but a funnel solved that for me. I like the adjustable temperature warming plate and adjustable timer for turning the machine off as well as the strong brew option. So far I am very happy with this purchase. Anybody want to buy a used Keurig coffee maker??

Good And Not-So-Good
Good And Not-So-Good The Good: 1. Dual-purpose design (traditional plus "k-cup"). 2. "k-cup" brewer much more attractive than the ordinary ones. 3. Good control options and user interface. 4. Brews coffee quickly. The Not-So-Good 1. Messy- Drips water on table every time lid is opened to begin brewing a new pot. The design of the lid allows condensation on the underside of the lid (from the previous brewing cycle) to drip down the back of the brewer's reservoir, and onto the table, instead of being channeled into the reservoir. Even the least-expensive "Mr.Coffee brewers don't show this glaring design error made by Cuisinart.. 2. Messy- "k-cup" brewing is messy unless an unusually-tall cup is used. As a normal cup fills, the coffee has to fall too far down into the cup, so it splashes out in every direction, making a mess on everything around it. To avoid this, it's necessary to put something under a normal cup to boost it up closer to the brewer's outflow. Instead of the fixed cup platform that's too low for an ordinary cup, Cuisinart designers should have provided an adjustable platform to ensure that an ordinary cup can be raised sufficiently close to the outflow to avoid splashing. 2020feb29(09:14)-sls
