Being an avid bed-reader (>_o) I've been wanting a pillow like this for years, but always blew it off as unnecessary. When it came up as an Amazon deal of the day with the different options, I decided to treat myself to the pillow with all the bells and whistles and, now that I'm snuggled up against it writing this review before relaxing and reading to end my night, I'm SO glad I sprung for it!Life for me has been EXTREMELY stressful lately with a highly demanding job, seemingly impossible-to-please bosses, and kids struggling with all sorts of problems at home (while bringing them with them to school) , on top of signing on to be the full time caretaker of a dad with a severe case of Alzheimer, and a mom with undiagnosed dementia, I've got A LOT on my plate, and my constant stress levels and accompanying neck pain is clear evidence of that. But I swear, as soon as I nestled into this huge, solid, soft-yet-supportive pillow, I could just feel the tension melting away. With the attached (yet removable) neck roll, this pillow is all that I've always wanted, and with the quality that gives me deep satisfaction that my hard-earned money has been well spent.The navy pillow that I bought is a beautiful, rich and deep navy - a color I'm confident will hold up over time and hide most stains. The pillow itself has no funky chemical, or any, smell at all, and after tearing it from the plastic it comes compressed and sealed in, it's started expanding nicely. I'm hoping to find that mine continues to fill out as others have said, but for right now, it's SO nice to be laying in! The arms are nice and thick and supportive, and it's just SO darn comfortable to curl up against! It IS heavy and unwieldy to move, which is both guys are bad for me, but the cart carry handle that's built t in mashes isHonestly, I'm not so sure I'll get much reading done on it because I find myself fighting sleep as I write this while laying on it, but so far it's proving to be worth every penny, and the wait for mine to arrive!Get the one with the neck roll! For an extra 20% or so, it's TOTALLY worth it, and you don't want to find yourself having to find a substitute later which you'll likely spend far more for than just the measly extra ten bucks for it here.

I am very pleasantly surprised and pleased with this pillow. I like to work in bed using a laptop desk, but our bed has no headboard so there is nothing to lean back on. I've tried cheaper pillows of this type that you can get at the local super-mart and they've always been such a disappointment - cheaply made, seams that came apart, filling that had no support, and fabrics that slid around making the whole thing pointless.This pillow arrived rolled and compressed but as anyone who's ever ordered a memory foam mattress knows you just need to let it free and leave it alone for a bit. I removed the packaging and laid it out for a few minutes, then sort of roughed it up and mashed the foam inside of it to break up larger clumps and redistribute it, then left it alone so it could warm up (it was delivered on a cold day and had sat out on the porch). When I checked on it a couple of hours later it was good to go!I'm not sure what kind of foam shreds are inside, they're not quite as squishy as memory foam but they are dense so they're not poly-fill and they're not open-cell foam like you'd find in upholstery. They compress well without losing much stability and spring back easily. When I'm using it, my body heat affects the shape of the foam and it makes it conform to my body (which is what makes me think of memory foam) The arm construction is better than many pillows on the market as they're attached separately and feel tighter in toward the body instead of being wide and making the pillow a dumpling shape that rolls over. The velour fabric is nice, I like the color and the pile is soft and long enough that the pillow doesn't slide when I lean back against it (hooray!). The seams are all double-stitched which gives me hope that they'll last.But how does it work? Pretty darned good! I mean, it is a pillow so there's a certain amount of squish to it, but I am able to sit up enough to type and work comfortably (in fact I am doing that right now as I write this review). If I find myself lounging a bit too much it's easy to sit up and pull the pillow back toward me from the bottom and it finds its shape. I like the handle on top as I use it to shake out the pillow before every use - it's already dilapidated from the last time I used it so I give it a quick shake and smoosh any filling around if the arms are lacking or there isn't enough of a base. It's very easy to do. Personally I put a squishy bed pillow directly behind and slightly under the back of it to add a little more resistance but I was very surprised by just how supportive it is. Hands down the best one I've ever tried and I'm glad I spent a bit more to get the right thing.

These pillow chairs are the best we’ve found! We bought one for me as I just had surgery on my knee and we knew I would need help sitting up in bed, and these are perfect. The support is exactly how much I needed, I can sit up completely straight, or lean it back some and adjust the arms around me so I’m leaning more. My husband tried it for a while when I was asleep and liked it so much that he ordered himself one, too!They come vacuum packed in a box that looks like it’s impossible it will be the same as the image. Once you open it, you have to CAREFULLY open both plastics that in enclosed in. Once it’s out, the fabric is very loose, and the memory foam doesn’t fit in it right away. You must vigorously floof the whole thing, focus on the arms and joints a LOT (pretend it’s a shake weight, don’t make it weird). Let it sit somewhere flat and where it will be left alone for like 2-3 hours, and bam, you’ve got the perfect chair.My only issue with this is the neck support. Firstly, it just snaps on with these flimsy little plastic snaps, so it come off almost every time we grab the handle that’s on the top of it. And then it doesn’t actually sit where it shows in the picture, you have to kind of hold it in whatever position you want it behind your neck, which isn’t very relaxing. But we’re making it work, and it’s still the best option we’ve found for our needs!

This product is used mainly when relaxing in bed watching TV etc. It is quite large , but very comfortable and of good quality. The neck pillow is a big plus. However, be warned that this product is quite heavy , particularly for the elderly if it has to be moved to other areas. I would have preferred the “Large” size instead with the neck pillow.

Es un buen producto, cómodo y lo suficientemente grande para relajarse. Principalmente lo adquirí por necesidades médicas para dormir con tranquilidad después de una cirugía, lo recomiendo ya que es firme para mantenerte en una posición pero no es incómodo, vale el precio que pagué.
