Was concerned because other reviewers stated it would run all the Roku sticks in house because it's hooked up on Wi-Fi. This was a complete non-issue. I have an older Roku stick, about 5 years old. Remote stopped working on one of the buttons. My teenage daughter connected this new remote within seconds going through the settings on the Roku programming. It locks into the specific Roku stick and works perfectly! Great replacement. Easy to set up. No trouble.

Works great, this is a replacement for a Roku Streaming Stick + remote, my original somehow went through the washer and was destroyed. It doesn't work for the TV function, so sound and on/off won't work, but it works the roku stick fine. I'm happy with it.

Worked like the original remote that was lost. I tried the new 4k roku stick however it would not work with my projector so this was the next best bet. Connects and works just like the original remote.

The remote works but only after adding a folded piece of paper inside the battery door. If not, the batteries slightly pop out of position and don’t make full contact meaning that the remote won’t work. After taping in a folded piece of paper in the area behind the batteries on the access plate, the batteries are kept in place with no problems. Even though I had to make this alteration, I still feel it’s well worth the cost

This remote has noting to do with volume,etc.it is quite basic. But it was the 3rd one I bought and the only one that actually synced with my Roku. I had to turn the Roku off for it to actually reset. It would not sync w/o doing that.Never try to buy a remote without the reset button on it. They are worthless. This one does what it is supposed to do...

This item hit the ground once and literally shattered into a 8 pieces. I reconstructed the pieces and it worked just as it had before. This lead me to believe that the remote was not defective, just extremely poorly made. It’s like playing a game of jenga. Every time it hits the floor. Spend the extra money ladies and gents! Don’t be like me! 😅😅😅 Terrible product.

I had decided to purchase this remote so that I did not have to use the "line of sight" to do things. From this point of view, it worked exactly as described. Problem was that I have a lot of Roku devices, and occasioanly one of them would do things I hadn't planned on. I do have a lot of Roku players (all different models) and sometimes if I was in one of the other rooms, and a family member used it to change channels in the living room, it would change both of our channels. I eventually went back to one of the other IR remotes I had, and moved this one to a room that is not used very often.

When my ROKU stick stopped responding to its remote I thought I would have to buy a new ROKU streaming interface for my TV. I found this replacement remote at a reasonable cost and took a chance thinking I could return it if it didn't fix the problem. Set up was simple and the ROKU Stick responds flawlessly to the new remote.
