The book came with some slight wear and tear but honestly nothing too bad. It’s still a very sturdy book in decent condition. The book is very simple and easy for your little one t understand. Words are big and bold with the picture of the object of the word on the opposite side of the page. And even has how to pronounce the words and how it’s written in Japanese. Simple words for your little one to start off with.I read this to my baby, and even though he is still too young to talk or understand, he still very much enjoys looking and the colors xD

We bought this for our toddler. My husband, who speaks Japanese, was disappointed because a couple of the words are the English words, which are acceptable, but he has been substituting them with better Japanese words.
