BaveL 36pcs Steel Spokes Mountain Bike Spokes MTB 281mm-295mm W/Nipples

Maybe I'm the only one that had a negative experience. I was willing to wait for these to ship from China, no big deal. I ordered 36 Silver 292MM spokes. What I received was a bag of 39 Black spokes that said "289" in Sharpie on the outside of the bag. Also the spokes only measured 287mm. So guess what? They don't work for my wheels. I just wasted $10 on this crap and it's not going to be worth my time to try to return them to China. Save your money.

Broke a rear spoke drive side roosting a berm too hard on my MTB. I got home, measured it up, they didn't have the size I needed so I went 1mm longer. The spokes showed up fast, good quality as they all measured up perfectly, and threads are good. I laced in the new spoke, came up a few mm short of the hoop, perfect, put the nipple through, and started tightening it down. Put the wheel back on the bike without the tire, used a zip tie around the frame to barely touch the wheel and began truing it. Got my wheel dead straight true after 15 minutes or so. I thought I was going to be off the trails for over a week, but with PRIME, and these spokes was back on the trails in less than 5 days! Now I have plenty of backup spokes if I break another as long as it's same length take or give a mm.

I used #1 wheel building, and a second source too, to get the spoke length on mark. I ordered spokes trusting they met my measurements, not the rim and final product, as all I felt important was they met the exact length ordered. I hoped they were strong, threads smooth, nipple sets perfect fit, and would lace into wheels with some compliancy, and not scrape off coating when they crossed each other. They met all my hopes and I ran into no issues of fit with wheel build. I am especially happy with spoke's black coating. They are not as flexible as SS spokes, but then by ride they are simply made of stronger and lighter material than SS spokes. Because my bicycle has full suspension, I do not need spoke flex to be a suspension element. I prefer them light and strong. My bicycle is all weather. I do take time to squirt a bit of Boeshield on the nipples. They still have jewel like adjustability. But honestly, after a few months of punishment, the wheels remain straight and true and I have not had to do a lot of tweaking, other than to check they still were tweakable.

So i ordered this package a few months ago. Early june. The site said it would take 1 week or so. Okay no problem. After finishing order i did a few other things. Came back to order more stuff and saw that the order was being processed and shipped out...cool. Sooner than i thought? NO. it allocated a time frame until early july... 1.5 months to arrive? I tried cancelling and it said that order was processed..hmm. Cancel until it arrives? I ordered another unit from a Amazon Seller verified and that item was sent in 3 days!!! So this item here, came in late july and wants me to see it back. bought it for 15ish bucks and it cost 14 ish to have it returned? WTF Avoid this seller - overseas seller avoid at all cost!

As a hobbyist I've built a few dozen 700c road wheels over the past few years. I have always used Sapim Race/Laser spokes and nipples, but decided to try and cut some cost and give these a shot.I ordered black 284mm spokes, which includes silver 14mm nipples. Measuring what I received, they were actually 283mm, which ended up working out fine because I measure my ERD with nipple washers. The spoke weight is 7.1grams, and the nipples are 1.0gram each.I used these spokes to build a rear 700c fixed gear road wheel. The only hiccup I encountered was that the included nipples take a #2 spoke wrench (Sapim nipples take a #0).Overall I am very pleased, and will be purchasing these for future builds.Giving 4stars because what I received was 1mm shorter than what I ordered.

I took a handful of the spoke and checked for uniformity in length, there was some slight visual variation but not enough to cause concern, the length of the threaded section was uniform. the spoke nipple is larger, I used the red park spoke wench and it fit fine, so far I have built two sets of wheels with these spokes, wheels went together as they should. I am interested to see how they hold up, winter now but I should be able to use them soon.

Just built my wheel this afternoon. The spokes were fine, as advertised. One reviewer had problems with a couple of nipples, but everything worked fine for me. The spokes were the proper length and uniform. I'm happy to be able to continue riding my old, beater bikes by rebuilding the wheels when the rims fail for one reason or another.

No issues with these spokes, all came straight and less than 1mm difference (all were the same size ) I had zero issues building my wheel with these. I never cared for any of these cheap nipples that are included. I also seem to strip them way too easy. So I've learned to just use some DT's or something similar.

Exactly as seen n described, come on time n now wheel is straight as a die again

Did the job for modernizing vintage road bike (27” tubular rims to 700c , now I can get tires).

I replaced my broken spoke and this worked well. Good quality
