I like the Berentain Bears
I like the Berentain Bears, but this book was way overpriced for what it is. It has maybe one sentence on each page and might be ok to read to a toddler or a baby (neither of whom would understand the message). Otherwise this is a waste. These books typically have a paragraph or more on each page of story. In their bedtime stories edition, it is truly chock full of great stories that are full-length. Not so with this. There is no theme, just “do your best at this and that” throughout the entire book, a few words at a time. I’m bummed.

I love the B
I love the B.B. so I was excited for this “recap” of their past stories. I was very disappointed. This is not a recap. It’s one line on a page with no point to it. I returned it.

Great life lessons book and it's Berenstain Bears!
I disagree with the recent reviews. This book clearly states it is a book of wisdom. It reminds me of the Dr. Seuss Seussisms book. An excellent book for teaching life lessons. Life is not always a bowl of cherries, as the Berenstain Bears have taught us through the years, but everything will eventually work itself out. I bought it for my son for high school graduation as he was a huge Berenstain Bear fan back in in his early childhood. What a great way to reminisce and smile. He loves it. Great book for the Berenstain Bear fan in all of us!

Awful book of platitudes illustrated with BB art
Awful book! I don't understand the point. Maybe if you are a huge BB fan this would make an ok "coffee table" book... but it's just a bunch of platitudes paired with random art from old BB books. Disappointed and hid it from my 3 year old after one reading, because do I really want to ask her "does life seem to be too much sometimes?", "life is full of sharks and wolves," and "sometimes it's ok to be a little naughty" (with pics of the cubs using makeup and shaving)? How disappointing.
