Annoyingly uncomfortable but gets the job done
After I flipped my kayak and lost a bunch of gear in the river, I bought this lease for my new paddle. My old paddle was really expensive and I lost it as it did not have a paddle each. I bought a moderately priced replacement paddle and have this leash attached to it. It is sturdy and is not going to let the paddle get away from the kayak, but it is very inconvenient Lee uncomfortable and it’s placement on the paddle has resulted in chafing and Uncomfortable rubbing against my arms and legs when I am paddling. I am almost not sure it is worth having the paddle lease for the discomfort.

Very Well Made Leash
I bought a pair of these leashes. One for my fishing pole, the other for the paddle. These are very nicely made products. As advertised, they do not come undone without intentionally doing so. When tightening to an object, you don't feel as if this is going to snap or fall apart like you get from leashes sold at the big-box stores. These are made to last. Will buy more as needed.

Top Quality...Perfect Length
These are TOP QUALITY leashes...they cinch around our paddles fantastic with their wrinkled / bungee type exterior. I've seen other leashes and these are super nice!UPDATE 8/9/19...these have been so great we just 3 more in a three pack...still top notch quality!

Light, Durable and easy to use!
I use one of these in my solo canoe to secure my spare paddle that I'm not currently using, either the bent shaft or the kayak paddle. Even those they're designed for while paddling use, I'm an old-timer and don't like the obstruction of anything on the paddle I'm using. However, I do know what it's like to try to paddle up a creek/river without one and for that reason I use the leash. I also think they play well to secure fishing poles while trolling in my solo canoe.

A must for kayakers
A very good rod leash and very easy to use. Would only recommend these leashes. Keeps your expensive rods secured to your kayak in the case of a big bite and pull from a big fish. Or any type of mishandling of your rod and reels from falling into the water. And seeing your expensive equipment fall to the bottom of a lake, river or salt water. Kayakers should always keep rods and paddles secured. You need these so just buy them.

Great tethers!
These have been great. The bungee function keeps them more organized on the kayak but the stretch is not so strong that using the leashed item is encumbered. I think my favorite use is on my stake out pole. The stretch makes staying attached to the stake a very pleasant experience as it takes up the shocks from waves.

Inexpensive and they work well
I bought these to connect our kayak paddles to our AIRE Super Lynx tandem kayak. The carabiner clips secure to nylon loops inside the kayak. They are long enough and elastic enough when in use, and don't get in the way if the kayak flips, which is nearly impossible to do with this AIRE kayak. These leashes are a better solution than chasing your paddles downstream.

Good quality and very functional
These work very well. I use one to hold my paddle, and it doesn't get in the way and provides plenty of clearance. They are very easy to use on anything you want to hold in your kayak. After multiple uses in salt water, they still look as good as new.
