Have both versions and bought a celebrity a set.
Excellent product and fits big heads great! Very comfy and you almost forget you have them on. The padded inside earcups is a plus ,but if you fall asleep with them on you may get an ear ache because the insert pads over the speakers are a little too thin. So here's my rec. Get you a Wrap-a-nap. And if your not using it from your eyes and ears, use it for your head. That is lay your earmuffed noggin in the middle of the wrap-a-nap and it provides a cushion around the muffed Ear.( That is if your a nut like me and wear them to bed) if you lie on your side. Also for added extra comfort, get some camel back HY80A gel Sealing Rings. They provide extra comfort and block a little more noise than the standard cushions. The wireless version is pretty neat in that it has Bluetooth, and a micro USB port along with 3.5 Jack outlet . If you go with the Jack you have to cut the Bluetooth off and unlike the wired headset you have to power up the wireless to use the 3.5 outlet being there is a function for it on the AM/FM button. The wired you can just plug your phone or mp3 and turn it up by the device volume.Update 4/12/16 Also, the stereo sound is way better than the communications headsets in some cases.Update 4/30/16 Keep in mind the newest Wired work tunes are not digital and the Tekk logo is no longer under the 3M logo. They are better than they ever were .Update 5/1/16 Purchased both Wired and Wireless sets for McKenzie Westmore-Tatopoulos. She seems pretty ecstatic to get them.Update, 12/26/16 back in October gave away several older models and finally bought a pair of the first set they ever came out with. Just recently bought a set for a lady under me at work and she loves hers . Haven't yet to see the celebrity with hers on yet, although she said she loves them and wore them.Update 9/3/17 Bought these yet again...( I must be crazy) and a Bluetooth set at an outstanding price on eBay and gave some away. Always falling back on these when I have the money and I see someone who can't afford them needs a set for outside chores , work , home, pleasure etc.One way to give God the glory...I literally lost count how many sets I've had.Update 11/17/18 Not able to get as many as I have...I'm more of a WorkTunes Connect guy now. Also waiting on the upgrade of the 90542, the wireless bluetooth, (Black and Gray earmuffs) which will put them on par with the Worktunes Connect, having Hi Fi speakers and receiving calls. a combination of all the WorkTunes in one.Can hardly wait til black friday.6/19/22.3M has done better... But the padded headband that Zohan and Prohear have is a copy of the 3M WorkTunes that old on the Regular , non Bluetooth version. They need to put it back on the connect versions even if an option like they do with the gels... which is a great improvement by 3M. Also to get rid of ear pain , and I've seen a lot of reviews on this...it's really easy to go to your auto parts store and get a Sheepskin seatbelt cover, find the softest one you think your like and cut it to fit in the ear cup ( pop it out, it's easy with a butter knife) and put the Sheepskin in. The ear pain won't be there and your ears will be pretty comfy, and no sound changes ...that I can tell anyway. Actually feels very nice. If you work outside in the heat, well they may get warm on you, so just depends...but you can always have them on standby. The gels allow more room for your ears and that added with sheet "fleece" makes a very comfortable headphone earmuff. I used Sherpa fleece but I find Sheepskin with it's healing properties is far better. A thin soft medical Sheepskin would likely be better for your inserts if any cuts or Knicks on your ears or soreness. Does great for me, but we are all picky about one thing or another.

Review of the yellow 3M WorkTunes without bluetooth
The FM reception matches the abilities of my best radio which has a much longer antenna. It beats all of my smaller radios in FM reception. It works fine in my mostly underground basement (which does have some windows) even listening to stations as far as 40 miles away. The AM reception is not as good. It can only pull in AM stations 15 miles away or less. The AM stations in my area are not very strong but my other radios can still pull in more AM stations. The antenna works best when out and not tucked away in hat mode (though the hat feature is fine for closer stations). The sound quality is fine for casual listening and as good or better than most headphones in this price range. Be sure to adjust the bass boost to the level you like and for the fidelity you want. I listen to news, classical music, rock, hip-hop, folk, and pop on these. The voice assist station announcer helps a lot and saves me from having to fiddle around making sure I have the right station. A problem is that it announces the station at too high a volume. I wish it would announce at the same volume I have the radio set at. My work-around is that I turn it on and wait for the voice assist to announce before putting them on. But if I change the station while I'm wearing them, or I need help with knowing the station, I have to listen to it.The hearing protection is the same as most decent quality sets of ear covers. They work well, making a good seal -- and I have pretty big ears.Overall, I'm really glad I bought these.Update after using these for a month:The battery life is excellent.A design flaw is that the volume knob is often turned up by any collar I'm wearing rubbing against it. I either have to zip jackets all the way up to my chin or tuck the collar in -- not always a comfortable solution. I wish the volume knob were higher up and not toward the bottom.Like most ear covers of this design, I am unable to wear any kind of glasses or eye protection, that have temples, for more than 20 minutes without experiencing discomfort in my temples or headaches from the added pressure. I can use goggles that have elastic straps okay. And without glasses this headset can be worn for hours comfortably.I wore these shoveling snow in a windy snowstorm and they held up great despite getting pretty wet and icy.Overall, I'm even happier I bought this now that I've used it for a while.

I Recommend This Item
I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: I use these every time I cut my grass. They are comfortable and perfect for working in a noisy environment. I've used this brand for about 35 years now, but recently my original pair finally wore out. The ear pieces were cracking, and the on-off push button was struggling to work every time. That was after 35 years of wearing them weekly in the summertime, in dirty, dusty conditions, while I sweat all over them. I figured if the first pair could last that long under those conditions, I would replace with same brand. This replacement pair is working just as good. I was amazed and felt old" when I saw the new ones had so many other modern features, like the Blue tooth and such. PLUS, they got rid of the push button on-off and now have a turn on knob which feels much stronger and should last many years. Chores go much easier when you can jam to your tunes while working. I Recommend. Good Luck.

Great Product..Recommend
Work great and easy to use. I bought them to use while on mower at work. Highly Recommend if you don't want to mess with your phone and Bluetooth connection. Takes a couple AA batteries. Comfortable fit and reduces noise drastically.

Incredible for yard usage!
I needed these to block out constantly barking dogs in my neighborhood that surround you from all angles. The reception is great on my FM stations and I cannot hear anything besides the radio now thankfully with these on. Very pleased with my purchase and plan on buying another set for possible future use. I imagine these would work quite well in any situation.
