Have you ever had a sleepover? One with snacks, fun,activities and............ TROUBLE? Well, in this book Mallory plans a slumber party for her birthday, which is a perfect plan until her guests ruin it. But obviously , as the main character of this book, Mallory finds a way to fix things, make everyone happy, and have a great 10th birthday. As a ten year old, I was blown away by how much feeling and excitement this story gives away. Turning ten isn't easy, I know, but Mallory still has a good time.I want to shout out the author for writing such an interesting, exciting,cool, and amazing story. I definitely recommend kids to read this book. Don't hesitate, 'cause trust me, you'll love it!!!!

Mallory McDonald is nothing if not an optimist. Throughout this delightful series she always makes the best plans...but they usually don't turn out quite the way she imagined. This time, for her 10th birthday, she plans the perfect (her favorite word) party - a sleepover. Let's see, cupcake decorating, water balloon fight, campfire in the back yard....what could possibly go wrong? But it isn't the physical mishaps that really mar this perfect party...it's the thoughtless words that threaten Mallory's most important friendship. Can she grow up fast enough to fix this one?

It is always more fun to do things with friends. You can get experience trying new things and new adventures.
