I use these to verify temps with other thermometers in my mash pot and they're within a degree or two of my other ones that I don't trust

Nice. Easy to adjust with a small wrench if out of calibration. It does take several seconds to come up to temperature, test with some boiling water so you get a sense for how long to wait.

Use it for home brewing. They do the job.

I was tired of digital thermometers being fickle and running low on batteries. This is a great, inexpensive solution.

I had a previous one for 10 plus years and dropped it on concrete and broke the glass. Both of these look good and easy to read temp and accurate. Great for beer brewing.

Seems accurate compared to my others and it's faster. Seems rugged and well made.

Using these for my compost heaps. They read within a degree or so of my electronic sensors, so that's cool. Great price too, compared to actual bona-fide 'compost thermometers'.

The thermometers work well to help control brewing temperature.
