Hidden Legend Wild Elderberry Mead 750ml

I've never had Elderberry Mead before so I have nothing to which I can compare this. Aside from not understanding how this was corked and sealed, once I finally got it open, I was very happy with the quality. This suited my purpose which was primarily its health benefits. It made me feel well after drinking it. Thank you NV Hidden Legend for making and selling this!

It's a good elderberry wine, but it just doesn't taste like mead to me. The elderberries in this mead is good, but the honey that was used to make this mead was lost in the taste of the elderberries. It has a nice sweet and fruity flavor, not dry at all, and it goes down nice and smooth. I drank this one at 46 degrees but I haven't tried it at any warmer temps yet. I plan to in the future. This is one that I would reach for if I were eating at Sonic for the night. I like it, but I don't absolutely love it and if you're looking for mead, reach for The King's Mead. If you're looking for elderberry wine, buy this one. You'll like it.

I was super excited to get this in the mail- it actually came on a day when my family was having a Christmas party. The bottle was literally empty within minutes. Everyone wanted to try the mead. I loved it, and so did everyone else. I am not incredibly knowledgeable about wine or mead but I could definitely taste the honey and it was very unique. Mead= my new favorite obsession.Thanks!Side note: Customer service rocks with this company!

I make elderberry wine with my boyfriend as they appear on my tree. With 5lbs of sugar what will go wrong? This was new to me. The flavor it gave was headier than I care for. It is important to keep it chilled. This wasn't failure.by any means. I'm very willing to try new types of wine.

A glorious mixture of elderberry wine and mead, I found myself using it mostly in cooking. However, on its own, it's a great and powerful elixir of the gods.

A family favorite for sure.
