The Big One 1 1/2-in. Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper (Twin)

The topper is packed well and arrived with no damage. Of course, it’s not that the topper is “fragile” and could be broken but you’d be surprised what I’ve seen damaged in shipment.There was no ODOR from the freshly un-rolled topper so after letting it ‘inflate’ to proper size, it was added on TOP of the latex SOFT (2” thick) topper. Sort of a topper-sandwich!!After sleeping on it for one week, we had trouble with the support and lack of pressure points relief, It didn’t seem to help mostly due to the egg-crate surface. It has been returned.If you need just a "little" support, this may be the topper that could help.

I recently purchased a tempurpedic that is medium in firmness. I am a side sleeper so it wasn't the best for me, although I hate super soft/mushy beds. I have had the bed for about 10 months and still toss and turn at night. I bought another 1.5 inch gel topper and it made my bed WAY too soft.. I felt so uncomfortable all night as I couldn't move and felt stuck in my bed like I was sunken in it. I slept on this topper last night and it is GREAT for a bed that just needs a little extra cushion. I wouldn't recommend it for those in need of something very thick and heavy. It is perfect for my needs when I couldn't find anything else that worked.

This was the perfect solution to a Ikea Murbo Futon we have in our spare bedroom. The futon was just a bit too firm and this made it just soft enough to balance out the comfort while still allowing the futon to fold into couch. We put the smooth side up and it is very comfy now.

I have a temperpedic that sleeps very hot. Was hoping this might help but it's becoming apparent that I should just get rid of the temperpedic mattress. Aside from that, this mattress topper is very comfortable and would work fine for someone looking for extra cushion to their mattress.

I have a lot of back problem and have bought several different beds in the past and went back to a new firm box spring mattress with memory foam entwined for the support and then bought this inch and half gel memory foam and it’s perfect ! Just enough thickness for softness but not too thick for the suppose inneed from my mattress. So if you have back problems this is the way to go ! Hope it helps someone !

I have always looking for a mattress or mattress cover that provides comfort, cooling and is just all around wonderful. My husband and I don't plan to splurge on a new bedroom set for a few more years, so this was a nice compromise.When I received it, it was rolled up tightly and as soon as I put it on the bed, it unrolled itself. Easy as can be. I immediately laid on it (who wouldn't?) and It was amazing. Now, the real test would begin that night when we went to bed. I have two 60lb hooligans (dogs) who think the bed is their play pen. If this thing can withstand that, then I'd be super impressed.That night, I put it on top of our mattress, with a mattress protector over it and then our sheets. The dogs, as usual, jumped up and down and all around and not only did it NOT MOVE, but they were not able to rip it either.We slept on it that night and I swear I slept better than previous nights. It was so soft and just cool enough to keep me from sweating through my clothes. I love it and would highly recommend it!

Not sweaty anymore! This keeps us at the right temperature to sleep even with multiple blankets. I was worried that I'd sink too deep into it on top of a semi-soft mattress, but it's just right.

Pretty comfortable and good value. Put it on a guest bed to provide extra cushioning for a rather hard mattress. Seems to have worked.
