Perhaps I am too fastidious
While I could not expect much from only 3 reviews, those 3 amounted to a 4-star rating. Nevertheless I do not even want to give these gloves one star, but Amazon requires at least one.I read every review of every fingerless glove offered by Amazon and this glove seemed -- from the 3 reviews -- to at least be somewhat better than all but one other glove, which was a $27 cashmere fingerless glove. I also ordered and like the cashmere gloves very much. However, when the Glacier fingerless gloves arrived the other day, they matched some of the most caustic reviews of *other* gloves on the Amazon site.To give an idea, the fit and workmanship were depressing. The "padded" palms bunch on my palms, because they are sewn out of kilter with the rest of the glove. There is no way to flatten out the palms, making wearing the gloves a bit like having a wad of plastic in your hand. The gloves seem to be made by, first, manufacturing whole gloves and then giving a pair of scissors to an unskilled person, who cuts off the ends of the fingers in a hurry. The remaining cut off fingers were unraveling on arrival, one with a moderately long thread dangling from one of the many poorly-done finger seams. The rest of the cut-offs were ragged and uneven. The labels inside the wrists of the gloves are made of stiff semi-cloth and placed where they continually irritate the wrists and cannot be smoothed out. The inside seams are raw and uncomfortable and rub irritations on the skin where the sewing and the interior seams push into the skin of the user's hands. The elastic - such as it is - in the wrists is just two 1/8-inch-wide, cheap elastic bands sewn onto the inside of the wrists and also itch and bind.Overall, while I paid only around $11.50 for the gloves, I feel that they are worth less than half of that, since they are ill-made, uncomfortable, ragged and generally low-quality. They represent what many products coming out of China are these days. They seem to be thrown together by (I can only guess) unskilled labor for volume production purposes rather than consumer satisfaction. Sorry, but I could not recommend them to anyone, although my thoughts appear to be quite different than the other 3 reviewers. Perhaps I got what I paid for.

Great Fingerless Glove
These are high quality fingerless gloves. Now don't get me wrong, they are lightwieght and not for subfreezing conditions, but I wear them all the time on cool Alaskan days, which is most of the year. The fleece is very compact for wind proof quality (again they are fingerless and find myself still sticking my hand in my pockets to keep my fingertip warm when standing around). If you are on the move, these are perfect however... keeping your hands warm yet allowing your extremities to release extra heat. The only bad thing I can say is that the palm pads are wearing too fast and should be more durable for those who wear them to the extent and conditions I do. The sizing is right on. I would say I have a very average adult male hand and got the large and, well, it fits like a glove; snug but not tight. It takes a lot to get a 5 star rating.

warm, comfortable gloves
Haven't used them yet....initial thoughts out of the boxThese gloves feel super warm and comfy. I purchased them as camp gloves to bring along on colder backpacking trips. I measured my hand as instructed on the Glacier Glove website and purchased a large. These were way too big and I exchanged for medium. So if you're on the cusp between sizes you'll likely need to choose the smaller size. However, the exchange process was lightening fast. I had the new size delivered to my door within 2 days of requesting the exchange.Update: I've had a chance to use these gloves and they are great. They kept my hands warm while still allowing the dexterity to setup/break camp with ease. I used them in 25-40 degree weather and they worked great. I'm currently using a lightweight wool liner glove and a thin water/wind proof mitten shell with these gloves for some extra and water protection.

Let's see, I own half a dozen pairs -- that says something, right?
I workout year round both indoors and out (okay, the swimming is pretty much all indoor) and I have cold-prone hands/fingers but I need to have my fingers available during the workouts. These gloves are pretty much windproof, run true to size (so far as I'm concerned) and are washable -- which is a big plus if you tend to sweat even in sub-freezing temperatures (hence, why I have a half dozen pairs: two are for normal use during the week; four get rotated through during the workout week and then get laundered on the weekend). They are comfortable and reasonable affordable and, so far, mine wear like iron so what's not to like if you're looking for a wind-proof fingerless glove?

Look from within, not from without.
From the pics alone I was worried about the quality of these $15 gloves, but I can say the construction is better than I expected and I'm surprised by the custom-like fit around the fingers. I wear a size 11 work glove and these fit me great in the Large. There's plenty of room left in the palm if you have larger palms; thicker hands/fingers fitting a size 11+ glove might want to opt for the XL especially if you plan on wearing liners underneath...say Ibex's Stretch Merino Glove Liners that also work with touchscreen devices? Good call.

Improved over previous versions
I like the use of a thin neoprene instead of the usual thick fleece. Good grippers on the palms. Surprisingly warm for how thin they are. They are thin enough to slip another pair of full fingered gloves over them if you want some quick extra warmth. So far, they seem to be holding up ok, after a few weeks of use....time will tell. I would recommend them

Picture shown and actual gloves are different.
The gloves we received were different than those in the photograph. While we could have returned them, the cost to do so was not within the usual Prime guidelines and would have cost as much as the gloves themselves so we lost the money and had to search elsewhere for the gloves we wanted.
