Poly VytaMyns Iron-Free Multivitamin - 90 capsules

I highly recommend this product. I have been using this multivitamin daily for the past year and have been extremely happy with it. I was previously using another brand of multivitamin but my endocrinologist recommended this brand and so I swapped. I have had laboratory tests performed that showed I was deficient in vitamins B1, B2, and B12 and an excess amount of B6, even though I was taking multivitamins. Now that I am taking this multivitamin, my B-levels (except B6) are all within the normal range. I can't say that I directly feel better or worse when I take this multivitamin. I can say that it has helped me avoid the symptoms of vitamin deficiencies. Regarding quality, if you examine the supplement facts, you'll see it is formulated with higher bio-availability vitamins and minerals. Although the recommended dosage is 2 pills per day, 1 pill per day is sufficient for me. The company that makes this and other supplements appears to be more focused on selling quality and effectual products and less focused on marketing and adding pointless fillers (seriously, what do you think 200mg of dehydrated vegetables is going to accomplish?). Like with most multivitamins, it certainly has an odor when you open the container but I notice very little taste, if any at all, when swallowing the pill. The pill is also a moderate size but definitely not a "horse pill". I would say that this multivitamin is comparable to other multivitamins sold in the $50+/month price range but at half the cost.Pros:- High bio-available vitamins and minerals- Higher, but not excessive, amounts of each vitamin and mineral- Recommended by my endocrinologist- Experienced no side effects- Very reasonable priceCons:- Prefer higher amount of vitamin D (personal need)- Prefer lower amount of vitamin B6 (personal need)

Nowhere in this description did it mention that these vitamins are dangerous to those on blood thinners. Only after I had purchased the item with premium shipping and it arrived at my door did I see a warning label telling anyone who is on blood thinning medication or who is a hemopheliac that they must not take this product. My eyes are very bad -- I was lucky that I spotted the warning because I have a bleeding problem. My doctor -- who told me to purchase these -- had no idea it was a risk for those who are on blood thinners. It is right there on the bottle -- but not in the advertising. Very important information to leave out. This was a waste of money that I can't afford, as I'm on social security.

Exactly as expected. I am in Nurse Practitioner school, and my instructor who has done much research on vitamins and body performed recommended these to me. She stated that she took these while going through her doctorate program and promotes the added energy benefits and overall increase in health it brings to our bodies. I have been taking them for months now and am thankful such a "power packed" vitamin. Definitely plan to have this in my cabinet until I find a good reason not to; even then I may still have them ;)

I'm not happy that the "Best By Date" sticker on this bottle had been removed. You can still see the sticky patch where the label was. How do I know that I didn't just waste my money on outdated vitamins that might even make me ill? I've been ordering these for a while now and am very disappointed this time.

great didn't smell bad like some other ones I bought.

I have been taking these for about 2 years as recommended by my doctor, they really help with your energy level. They are easy to order via amazon but difficult to find in stores. The look of the bottle changed recently with this order so I was a tad sceptic but all of the ingredients are the same except they are now gluten free.

After taking these vitamins for 3 days I had more energy than every. I made it through the winter season healthier than usual.I recommend these vitamins to anyone looking to have overall good health.

My doctor specifically suggested these vitamins for me because of the vitamins and minerals it contains. She suggested that these would help my hormone imbalance start to level out naturally. So far, I feel a whole lot better!
