Good4U 6 Tray Dehydrator with 40 Hour Digital Timer - Black

We bought this in late 2015 and loved it till for some reason one night the trays melted. We have tried to contact Good4U in multiple different ways to try and buy new trays, without them the unit is useless. With no response after multiple tries and multiple weeks I have to give this a 1 star knowing this would be the exact same experience for warranty issues as well. Once ordered it is fine but do not expect and customer service or warranty beyond what Amazon would cover.

I did some research before I purchased this dehydrator and let me tell you... you can't go wrong with this one. I bought this primarily to start doing my own jerky. I made my first batch the night I received this and let me tell you that this did the job perfectly. All jerky came out evenly dried and perfect. Made 2 and a half pounds and my kids ate it before the day ended. The timer is a must have, so you can go to sleep with no worries and when you get up...awesome jerky! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to make jerky or whatever you want to dehydrate.

Hi Everyone,Here is an update from my last post. I spoke to who I believe, is the owner of the good4u company and we had a good conversation. She has checked into the problems I was having and is taking action. A third party who is a raw food equipment supplier suggested to me that with the growing popularity of dehydrators these types of growing pains can happen. I tend to agree with him.The construction of the good4u dehydrator is probably not as sturdy as the Excalibur but there are several features of this good4u dehydrator that I like better than the Excalibur and I hope that I can resolve this issue and find a solution.One of the things I like about the good4u unit is that it does not need a door and you don't have to rearrange the food or move the trays for even dehydrating. The sides of this unit are solid so there is no hot air flow coming out of the sides as with some other units. It is also less expensive. I will keep you posted.Maryellen V. Little

I liked this one so much I bought one for my mom too. Now we are both dehydrating fruit and making jerky.My yard has banana trees in it that keep producing in spurts, a whole huge stalk at once. Banana chips are a great way to keep up and not have them go bad.This dehydrator is very easy to use and has the fan at the back so all of the trays get even airflow. This is the same system as the Excalibur only at a reasonable price.
