Update: I have had this locket for over ten years. I bought it while grieving, and for a long time wore it every day. It hasn’t tarnished during periods of daily wear or sitting in my jewelry box. The latch and hinge still work and the photo has been well preserved. I cannot recommend it more highly.This is a great locket. It is small, and simple. It stays closed, and comes with small plastic sheets to protect the photos you put in, and to keep them in place. It is just what I was looking for.

Beautiful lockets. I painted a small scene in the ones I bought for presents. They are quite small but very well made. They stay closed and have a classic look from the outside.

At first was dissapointed by the size versus price, so i rated 3 stars, but after watch it on my wife,i changed to 4 stars, looks so beautifull and amazing.Is very polished and delicated, the chain is very resistant and is silver too.The locked is good quality and she have not any problem in opening.The only downside is a bit small inside but you may get to place a quater inch picture inside.I'm thinking on buying another

It was lovely and perfect for engraving with an initial, which is what I wanted to do. I thought it might be too small for my ten year old granddaughter, but it was just the right size.

I understand that sometimes products come dead on arrival, but this really should have been caught during quality control. There's a massive scuff on the front, and the back is littered in scratches. It's not like these defects are microscopic; they're visible from a distance. It's just plain lazy. I'm not mad per se, but I'm more so baffled because this should be preventable.Not to mention, it is extremely thin (like really really really thin, no more than 2.5mm in depth), and I doubt that it would last the test of time. I guess if you still feel inclined to purchase this, do so at your own risk. But honestly, I would recommend that you stay away from this and go for something of higher quality.
