I expected the plates to be a hard enough rubber ...
I expected the plates to be a hard enough rubber to be able to resist the weight of the olympic bar for deadlift warmups. The plates are too flexible and bend when added to the bar.

Decent plates, meant as added weight to sturdier bumper plates. I'd go with a different set of you're planning on only using these plates on the bar for beginners.
