USB C hub for iPad
Perfect USB C hub for use specifically with iPad, but I'm sure it'll work with computers too. I bought it to be able to import video files from SD and micro SD into my iPad and nothing else I've purchased has seemed to work this well. I can also charge it while using the dongle AND it has a headphone jack. If you didn't know, the 2018 iPad Pro does not have a headphone jack, or an SD card reader, but this dongle/adapter allows you to do it all. Now I can edit from my iPad seamlessly with the use of this one dongle. So glad I found this product!

Everything you need and it works just fine!
Just one dongle on one port to take care of everything including charging my MacBook Pro and it works great! 4k monitor works at 30hz and full 4k resolution. No 60hz support at 4k so if you're a gamer or serious movie person who must have that, pay attention. The HDMI and Ethernet ports work as does the mic/headset jack. Great audio quality! Connector fits well. Haven't had an opportunity to test VGA port.

Just what I needed for my Mac Book Pro
I have bought multiple devices to hook up to my Mac Book but this one provides me everything I need in one compact package. It is small and compact but big enough to feel like I am not going to break off the connections in the computer if some one hits or bumps me. It is excellent for travel. I currently purchased a second one to use in my office as a docking station.

It works! Great!
Laptop has 3 USB (Type A?) and one USB Type C. I needed the 3 "Standard- TypeA?" USB's for the Oculus Rift but I still needed 2 more "Standard" USB's - one for the mouse and one for an External Hard Drive. This works perfectly. It's what I needed. There was a coupon for $15 off which made this a very competitive price compared to the competition.

Powlaken USB-C Hub GOOD FOR iPad
After searching myriad websites for a functional USB-C Hub as well as tired of buying overpriced apple accessories, I had finally decided to purchase Powlaken for my new iPad Pro (3rd gen). It was shipped with a hard cover case with a soft foam pad in the box for protection. The graphics on the external box is bitterly cheap and needs some graphic design work, but who cares as long as the product works. To my surprise, the hub felt like a gem wraps in the toilet paper, it actually felt SOLID. It came with a nice suede-like carrying pouch and it offered more connections than any other hubs in its competition, yet with a reasonable price. The hub fits perfectly with my iPad Pro even with a clear case protector on. The only problem was the connecting wire was too short, as seen in the picture, it dangled to the side. I had to add some height to balance the hub flat on the table, or you can simply use your pad flat without standing. All of the connections were tested without showing any concern. I would strongly recommend anyone who is in the market shopping for a USB-C hub solution.

A Lifesaver
I work as a traveling IT guy at my local school district and manage around 1000 Macs between 4 Elementary buildings. We recently upgraded our staff devices to 2018 MacBook Pros, so I've been tripping over all the different unitask dongles I've needed to connect USB drives, and ethernet cables, display adapters, etc. This compact device, however, has absolutely everything I need, so it has eliminated a lot of swimming through my pack to find just the right adapter. I think I may very well have saved years of my life, and not just from recovering the wasted time. Would make a great docking station as well.A note: when I first plugged in the ethernet cord, my computer couldn't establish a connection. I simply unplugged the dongle, deleted the USB 10/100/1000 Ethernet adapter from my system preferences, plugged the dongle back in, and manually added the USB Ethernet interface back and it recognized the connection immediately. Whew. So, everything works great, and it is more affordable than a number of other all-in-one adapters I was shopping for, including several that had less features-- a must buy for anybody with a newer MacBook Pro!

Best Alternative to bulky OEM hub
I purchased a Lenovo Carbon X1 6th edition laptop. After spending a ton of money on this laptop I didn't want to spend more money on a hub. But I needed it to do everything. This means supporting 2 Display Monitor, a USB Mouse and Keyboard, a conference headphone, an ethernet connect, powering my laptop, and charging my phone. Was extremely impressed on how well it worked when all the ports were fully loaded. It did get a little hot and my laptop fan had come on after about 3 hrs of continuous use while it was sitting on my wood desk. The only issue I had was that I could not get 3 screen to display when I had plugged a HDMI and VGA to the hub. It would only mirror both monitor, would not extend. The only solve I found for this was to use a DVI to HDMI cable one monitor 1 that connected to the hub and a DVI to USB C on the second that connected straight to my laptop. This defeated the purpose of having a VGA and a HDMI port on the hub. This was disappointing because this means I had two connections to my laptop and not just one from the hub.But overall the cost of a hub from Lenovo was over $200, I paid $49 for this product and this is why I am giving it a 4 start. Bang for buck was worth it. Didn't give it a 5 star because of not being able to "extend" the monitors when both the VGA and HDMI was in use, it could only "mirror" the two monitors.Read the description if you want to extend the monitors as I didn't - Her is what it says, "When the HDMI and VGA output ports work simultaneously, the display will ONLY duplicate and NOT extend but the maximum resolution of both ports is 1080P. "If you only have 1 monitor, this will work great. I don't plan on traveling with it, but it is light weight and very portable.I was also able to plug another USB hub to this that added an additional 4 USB port and they all worked great.
