I ordered a package of these foam boards and I was impressed with the quality. They showed up in good condition thanks to the corner protection. The top and bottom boards on the stack also didn't have any dents or dings in them. They are great for presentations because glue adherers well to the surface.

These are very nice foam core boards. While they are slimmer than what I’ve had before they seem plenty sturdy for my purposes.I appreciated how very carefully they are packed and how quickly they arrived and I will definitely order from this company again!

easy stuff to work with. The background of my stereo cabinet needed black paint but couldn't get there without totally dismantling the whole system. I cut pieces of this instead, and squeezed panels of it into place. - worked great. It's easy to cut (but you must cut it on a hard surface using a razor - make sure it's sharp). Another reviewer was correct whey saying they're not square (some slightly off), but I don't care, they were easy to cut to form, or I simply turned them over to butt up against each other. They fixed my problem and I'm happy with the purchase.

Excelsis Design 15 Pack 11x14 in Black Foam Board ends up with only 12-13 usable pieces.I was initially excited that the corners are protected in shipment. However the top and bottom/end boards each have some damage to the face of each board. Each has some crunches or scratches to their faces. A couple in the middle are also unprotected and have an edge pinched in too.On the internally sandwiched boards most have a pure black presentation side, while the other side has a gray cast on it. The presentation side also has sharp edges from being stamp cut. Size is exactly 11x14, so my positioning jigs to mount 8x10 or 8.5x11 papers gets my photo paper perfectly centered onto the board.I wish the both sides are consistent tinted and outside pieces are fully protected and not just in the corners. Then there's no sacrifice of at least the 2 end pieces.

Arrived in a pristine package, but boards were severely warped/bent to the point of being unusable. I have requested a return/replace, so I'm very hopeful this is a one-off and I can come back and give 5-stars. Fingers-crossed!Update - I received a replacement set of boards quickly (yay!) but they are equally VERY curved and unusable for my needs. I will be returning them, as well and because my confidence in this product is spent I will source locally.

The boards arrived wrapped in a thin plastic bag only (i.e., no protective box). Therefore every single board had some minor damage: either along the edges, at the corners or on one face. Fortunately, I didn’t buy these for an art project -- I bought them for lining metal wire storage shelves and for their acid-free characteristic. So, although for my application their damaged appearance won’t matter and I’ll be trimming them to fit and I’ll only need to use twelve boards, your application may differ and such damage may be unacceptable and the quantity may be important for your project. Consider this before buying, or buy larger-sized boards and plan on trimming.
