ICS Industries - 3/8" OD Copper Refrigeration ACR Tubing 50 FT

Repair my A/C unit.

Came decently packaged. Had to cut off about an inch on either end because they were egg-shaped, but I kind of expected that. I know this is billed as refrigeration line, but I used it during the relocation process of my home heating propane tank. Worked easily and flared easily. Will buy again when I run a propane line into my detached garage, for heat, once I'm done insulating it.

It is cooper and it is tubing. What else can I say?

I’ve ordered this before once or twice in the last year or so. This order of 50 foot was so light I thought it was a 20 foot section.You can easily tell the difference from the 50 foot from lowes or Home Depot - easily half the weight.This was strange because my last orders were normal.So not sure what happened here. Either they are saving money and making the walls thinner or I’m short about 20 foot.Packaged very well in a box and shrink wrap.Good price here, but I can’t take a chance on thinner copper. Definitely not the same as my last order from the same company.

Product was good and undamaged worked OK for liquid line and suction line. Would buy again.

Works good for propane line

This is not quality copper pipe. This has the thinnest wall I've ever seen. Thinner than the big box store stuff.Bending it even 30 degrees with a proper ratcheting bending tool kinks it.I ripped it out, collected my couple bucks at the metal recycler for it, and bought something else. Don't waste your money like I did.

It bends well by hand without kinking and has good wall thickness.
