Great power in a small size
This is a brilliant device not marketed well. It’s powerful with enough expansion options packed for a really small size. I had purchased a 1 TB SSD, which I was looking to find a home for. This device has been a worthwhile investment.I’ve connected it to my TV via HDMI and this has allowed me to not only have a fully functional computer but also a smart TV with the ability to stream or play local / internet content without any restrictions.I use a wireless keyboard and mouse combo with it so there’s literally no sign of a computer sitting near my TV until I switch it on. You have to buy a separate power cord as the box doesn’t come with one, so keep that in mind when you buy this.

Best mini pc
Best small from factor pc. Awesome price. Worth every penny. I paired this i5 nuc with 500gb nvme ssd and 16gb dual channel ram. Awesome performance. 4k video playback is super smooth. Satisfied. Will update after a month of useUpdateAfter 8 months of use. It's a great mini pc. Great for work and media consumption. Again 4K stream is super smooth. You can run multiple VM's.A welcome addition is now it's supports windows 11 officially.

High quality device - excellent performance -
Very high quality hardware. well designed. After adding RAm and SSD and OS, the performance is excellent, The quality of components like network cards , wifi, bluetooth are best. Ports are all high speed ports . it hs thunderbolt port too that you often see only in ultrabooks.Driver are easily obtainable from intel website, Compatible components list easily traceable on intel website.Took just about 2 hours to set up including windows 10 pro OS installation.Much better performance than any reputed brand midrange laptops (that cost 60 to 75 k)For roughly about 46K(including cost of high quality 24 inch monitor, 8 GB ram 500GSSD and windows10pro OEM license) you get a ultrabook performance . Best part is device can run on 12 volt battery so hook it up the inverter if you have power failure issues

Not durable
Got fired after 4 months of use. All of a sudden one day got power off without any power cut and not starting at all. Even after removing memory and SSD no power.

Highly recommended.
Highly recommended.Powerful and sleek. Combine ut with SSD & minimum of 8GB Ram for an ultra experience. Boot time is super less. Can be easily mounted behind monitor. Price wise worth the value.

Tiny and powerful computer | I got it at 29K
Important: for installing OS you need to plug the bootable USB into the Yellow colored [hope I remember right] USB socket in the front.Pros:This device which was sold at 36K I got it at 29K just before start of Great Indian festival in amazon.Neatly sits on the back of my monitor.Intel Core i5 in a small casing; power full computer in a small casing - I love itOnly need to add SDD and RAM - I got Adata 4GB x 2 and NVME Kingston 250GB after checking the compatibility in the manual; with them and power chord its working fine.Provision for SSD, I am using the SSD from my old laptop.computer is blazing fast and I love to use it, I have not seen any shortage of features in this till now.I have connected Logitech C270 webcam, Quantum zero USB3.0 hub, Logitech key board.Cons:No power chord was supplied with this device.Shipping was as committed; but a little long time of almost 5 days from Calcutta to Bangalore. Some time HDMI audio do not appear on my Benq 24 inch monitor - this may be a software fix needed

Great Little Machine!
Needed to upgrade my HTPC Setup from a 4th gen i7 HP Lappy connected to my TV via HDMI. Added 16gb RAM, 1tb NVMe SSD & windows 10 to get it going. I was worried about downgrading from an i7 to an i5, but this little beast is much faster, at many things such startup, navigation, updates, installation. But sometimes it can't handle simple things & can result in mouse lags. But at under 50k to have a quad core i5, with 16gb ddr4 RAM & 1tb NVMe running Win10, makes me wonder why I paid 30k extra for my HP Lappy. Just a screen & a battery?

Tiny beast, expensive and with some disappointments
The good:0. The NUC is tiny - virtually weightless1. 4-Core 8-Thread i5-8259U CPU with a powerful iGPU (although not comparable to an entry level GPU like NVidia MX150 )2. Extremely power efficient - so you can use this PC for any 24/7 workloads such as Media-server or HTPC3. Thunderbolt-3, USB 3.1, Built in Wi-Fi with out protruding antennas, Bluetooth 5, HDMI4. VESA Mount option - I finally managed to drill holes into the back of my monitor (which actually doesn't support VESA mount) and successfully mount the NUC5. Very Quite even under extreme CPU stressThe Bad:1. Very Expensive - Indian retailers are selling these NUCs with an additional margin of anywhere from 5 to 10 thousand - The package doesn't include power chord which supplies power from from switchboard to the power brick. Need to shell out 300 bucks extra for this.2. Even if you choose to buy at this price, you still need to buy your own Windows 10 copy, RAM and SSD or NVMe SSD or a Hybrid HDD - this takes the whole budget beyond a custom built PC which can be more powerful in this price range3. The NUC is not up-gradable, the big let down is you can't simply plug-in PCIe devices like you do on a desktop PC4. The NUC is powered by a power brick which almost in size equal to the NUC itself, this is annoying to manage5. No Power backup - if any glitches in power the NUC instantaneously turns off, leaving your applications in a compromised/corrupted state6. 4K support over HDMI is limited 30Hz, this is not enough for real 4K HDR streaming from Netflix or Amazon prime7. CPU is soldered into the motherboard, so you can't simply swap the CPU with a better CPU from futureIf Intel is serious about the consumer experience, then they should focus on the below1. To integrate the power brick into the NUC itself, help reduce the cable clutter2. Whatever the battery backup that Intel can offer in these NUCs, it should do that immediately to allow the users gracefully shutdown the machine in the event of power failure3. Cable clutter - VESA mount is only useful if you offer shortened HDMI/DVI cables to the monitor4. As the NUC iGPU is not up-gradable, Intel might need to seriously consider offering more powerful iGPUs, the Iris Plus 655 falls short on many common workloads5. Not sure why AMD is not offering the similar CPUs, if they do, then Zen2+Radeon based AMD iGPUs could turn out to be a better option than Intel NUCs.From My experience, I strongly feel that these NUCs are very expensive with same old cable-clutter with little to no gains on the tiny form-factor advantage as Intel projects.1. It's better to go for a Gaming Laptop which gives you the same benefits as NUC with no cable-clutteror2. Go for a Custom built PC if you can live with the cabling mess but with extra boost in specs.or3. If you really insist on NUC, then better go for 8th gen i3 version instead of i7 or i5, it's Rs. 11,000 cheaper than i5 version with negligible performance drop while still being a beast.
