Great fan, high velocity, does a great job circulating air in the garage

Atlantic Breeze Pedestal Fan
Avoid this product like the plague. I've had 2 in a period of 2.5 years and they overheated and died. The first went about 15 months and the second a year. Atlantic Breeze advertises this as "Heavy Duty" but it's anything but. It's not like they were overly used either, just moderately used. The motor on these get very hot which is why I suspect they prematurely died. It's not like I didn't at least try and take good care of them either. I kept them clean and lightly oiled the shaft which extends into the motor housing. I bought both at shoplet's web site and they refused to post my remarks so I advise avoiding that retailer as well. C'mon, for that amount of money you should be getting something that will outlast the cheap plastic stuff that's all over the market.
