Works like a charm, but....
Works as advertised. My Curt hitch is rock stable, no wobble. The "but" part, and it is my fault, I lost both keys so I am unable to take it off. I called Curt support and the only way they could replace the keys is by giving them the number inscribed in it. Since I lost both keys, they cannot do anything and I have to cut it off and purchase a new one. Other than that, I highly recommend it, just don't loose your set of keys.

Worked fine. I had to jostle the bike rack around ...
Wasn't able to get it to work. I just couldn't get the threads to make contact with the hex nut to tighten it. That's because the directions on the package are wrong. It shows inserting the threads of the pin on the opposite side of the hitch from the hex bolt. Just before I was going to return it I decided to try inserting the threads on the same side. Worked fine. I had to jostle the bike rack around a bit for the sleeve to slide in, but once it was installed it really cut down on the play. I haven't used it on the road yet to see how long before it needs tightening. I don't know if it'll be worth the extra hassle just for short trips, but this will be going on for longer ones. Might be a five star, but I haven't road tested it yet and the written directions were wrong. It does say on the packaging this was manufactured by TRIMAX for CURT. Also, made in China which I hate, but I've always had luck with Curt products.

Keeps Hitch Firmly Mounted
Bought to use with CURT 45090 Hitch and Curt Class 3 Receiver on a 2005 Sienna. Have been using Thule bike rack that is also anti-rattle with lock so from that experience I knew I wanted the anti-rattle for my 45090 hitch mount. Installed perfectly and holds the hitch firmly in place with no movement and therefore no rattle. Now the wrench they supply is stamped metal and the flats on the pin are not that substantial. Based on other reviews there were complaints about slipping/stripping. So I went to Lowe's and picked up a 3/4" (fairly sure as I'm going on memory) "stubby" wrench and it worked perfectly. Keeping all the pieces in a hitch tote bag, The clip with captive nut stays inside the 45090 hitch mount. The only minor problem is after screwing in pin from the right side, I could not slide sleeve onto the pin from the left. Turns out the hole in the Curt receiver was a little rusted/corroded so I had to clean up the inside of the receiver's hole with some sandpaper and then I could get sleeve all the way on. The sleeve is designed to fill the gap between the pin and the receiver hole on the lock side and reduce rattle so it should fit snug.

It works. Holds the extension in place so as to not create much rattle or sway. The wrench could have been padded or more robust so tightening wouldn't be such a pain (literally), but that's why I bought a Yakima rack, right? I'll just use that rack's beer bottle opener to tighten because luckily, they are the same size. :)

Curt makes great stuff and this wont disappoint. Does as advertised!
Looks great and is plenty sturdy. Holds the hitch still and provides piece of mind. Yes the small wrench is poor quality but I'm hesitant to really crank this down anyhow. Good luck getting it off in NY after a winter month with salt and ice. Overall very happy for the price and it works great.

Not as Advertised
The description lists the manufacturer as Curt, but the hitch pin I got in the mail is made by Trimax.

Works great.
Exactly what I need to stop my hitch from slamming in the tongue while towing our boat. No noise anymore when leaving a light or braking.
