Zeh siddur hu tov maod!
Zeh siddur hu tov maod! That's Hebrew for this siddur is very good. I actually like this siddur even more than my artscroll stone edition tanach especially for reading the sefer tehillim or the book of psalms. I love how this siddur has the complete sefer tehillim in it plus all the Israeli based prayers so it's usable both by our ppl back in the land of our forefathers in eretz yisrael and by those of us in the galut. As a Jew from a reformed background who is looking into modern orthodoxy and being a Baal teshuvah I find it helpful and informative. I love how it has bound within the 10 commandments on page 205 and the story of the akedah on page 25 and the story of the eshet chayil or the woman of valor from proverbs on page 422 plus it has the ethics of the fathers and the complete chamish megillot or 5 scrolls which are certain books from the writings read at certain festivals plus quite a few parashot and haftorot readings. I also like how even tho the nusah is Ashkenazi it's inclusive enough to use many sefardic ways of transliterating ancient Hebrew words especially in the translation of the psalms. I like it's translation of the Psalms better than the translation in my artscroll tanach. I chose this siddur because it has the complete book of psalms in it. The Hebrew phrase on the cover means what is the service which is in the heart? It is the saying that is prayer

Classic Tefilot in a concise layout
The Rabbinical Council Artscroll Siddur has been my favorite since 1986 and I now have two favorites. This Koren publication has a less ornate font, so the typeface seems a little smaller and more tightly spaced. The essays provide additional understanding to the commentary throughout the Siddur's pages. Artscroll does seem to have more instructional notes in the prayer pages. The english translation by Rabbi de Sola Pool (Koren) helps to provide a deeply rewarding experience whether you are uninitiated or observant.

Great Learning Tool
I'm not Jewish but am very interested in the faith. I feel like I've finally found the right place to build a relationship with God. I wanted to find a prayer book that would help me learn more about the religion while also learning their prayers, and this book is definitely doing that. I bought it over a month ago and use it everyday. This is a great purchase and am very happy with this book. The only thing wrong is that it's missing Page 20. No, I didn't contact the seller about this because I didn't want to be without the book after it became important to me. Plus, I figured the rest of them are probably like this, too, but I don't know that and am NOT saying they are.

More for study and reference than for daily use
Great for its thoughtful translation and comprehensiveness, but it is not suitable as a daily prayer book unless you always use a lectern. This siddur is just too heavy to hold for very long. The paper also seems too fragile for regular use. The paper folds and creases very easily. There is also excessive bleed- through of text from the other side.I wish there was more consideration for other customs, even within Nusach Askenaz, as there is in other Koren Siddurim. The font itself is fine, but the mixture of sizes is distracting. Page 176 is a prime example. There are three sizes of text on the same page plus bolding. Some of the text is so small, that it is hard to tell the shvas apart. In my opinion this siddur is more for study and reference than for daily use.

Excellent Siddur
Excellent Prayerbook! I'm new to using Siddur, but this one is quite easy to go through and includes prayers for every holidays and other occasions. How wonderful it is to pray directly to Hashem!
