Not the best Mel Brooks comedy but this movie has grown on me over the years. I am a big Mel Brooks fanYoung Frankenstein, spaceballs, history of the world….. the list goes on. There are parts of this movie that stand the test of time like the kings mole that moves around or the Great cameos of other stars. A good movie to curl up after a tough week at work and just laugh at the silliness and forget your worries

I love this movie so much. It is hilarious.

Despite having to explain the random 90s jokes that went right over my teen’s head, we were both laughing throughout the entire movie. I hadn’t seen in in at least a decade and I forgot how many jokes came from this movie. Great cameos, hysterical script. I’m glad we watched it together, it was a great hang in the house night together.

This movie always makes me laugh. When cable goes out, which it does frequently, I turn to DVD's, andreally enjoy this one.

Mel Brooks created another comedic masterpiece. I enjoy "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" and this spoof on that movie is just great. The writing is just perfect.

I've watched this about a dozen times and laugh and catch parts I missed every time. It is almost like Mel Brooks the director of this may have put some Monty Python type jokes. I love the main character, who also played Wesley in the Princess Bride, he is a good fit. Great actors, great jokes. I'll probably watch this a dozen more times before it gets old.

What’s not to like? It’s Mel Brookes at his zanyest. Great comedy one liners and cast is perfect. Would love to see more of this type of entertainment made readily available

Zuerst habe ich mal eineinhalb Monate auf die DVD gewartet. Bestellt am 29.11.22 und bekommen am 09.01.23. Das alleine ist schon mal krass. Als der Postbote dann da war, hat er auch noch Zollkosten kassiert, die in Summe fast so teuer waren, wie die DVD selbst. Das die DVD aber aus England, den USA oder woher auch immer verschickt wird, stand nirgendwo. So und jetzt ist die DVD auch noch komplett auf Englisch und keine zweite Sprache ist verfügbar, nicht mal Untertitel sind vorhanden. Und dafür habe ich jetzt so lange gewartet und sogar noch draufbezhalt. NIE WIEDER!

In dieser herrlich respektlosen Komödie rund um den berühmtesten Gesetzlosen aus Sherwood Forest wird alles duch den Kakao gezogen, was garantiert NICHT in der Legende vorkommt! Cary Elwes und Amy Yasbeck als Robin Hood und Jungfer Marian heizen dem britischen Adel mit Hilfe ihrer Spießgesellen in den Wäldern ordentlich ein. Mel Brooks macht nicht mal vor dem Filmteam halt, denn da kann es schon mal passieren, dass eine Kamera durchs Fenster kracht, ein Abt mit dem TV-Bildschirm kollidiert oder ein Frühstücksbrot von einem Säbel Aufgespießt wird. Eine echte Strapaze für die Lachmuskeln!Fazit: Ein Film zum Immer-wieder-amüsieren!
