Professional PCI-E Extension Cable: 16X to 16X (powered)

Works as expected. I had a need to keep a very low profile for my build and I was trying to minimize cost by using parts I already had. All I needed was this cable to keep things as flat as possible. Seems to work well. I did have a single lock-up when this cable was connected, but I can't be certain it was the cable. I have removed it temporarily while I finsh the build, but I'll be putting it back in at the end. If I experience additional lockups after I put the cable back in I'll update this review.

This thing shorted and almost blew up my entire setup. See photo. DONT BUY THESE if you value your electronics, they are poorly built probably in china and they will almost certainly stop working at some point and hopefully they don't destroy your electronics when they do.Refer to the photo to see poor soldering that shorted my setup.

Do not bend, or you will stress ports and bend the gold pins in your motherboards 1x 4x 16x ports. There is another new molex material that stays affixed to how you bend it and stays in one place without stressing ports, do not use this in an 8x port, it will not work. There is no more money in using gpu to farm currency. It is a lost cause.

Did not work even when power by a Molex Cable. Overall build quality however seemed ok. Minus the power connector. Perhaps I received a bad card, but Will not purchase this one again.
