I am enjoying this tea! I wanted a whole leaf Ceylon tea, and this one is hits the spot for me on terms of taste -- although it's a bit stronger and not as mellow/full-bodied as more traditional Ceylon tea. The whole leaves may have something to do with that, since most Ceylon tea I've had before this have been either in bags or from a single estate from a different region of Sri Lanka, which could account for the difference in taste. Still, makes for a great morning cuppa!

Strong, but smooth, Ceylon tea. Really like it. It you are caffeine adverse, choose another type of tea or an herbal infusion. Grin! Full black tea, caffeine kick, but not bitter. Tried it with a bit of milk and honey... which compliments the creamy sweetness without being cloying. Multiple infusions. I steeped mine about a minute less than the directions at first..to soften it somewhat. Don’t leave the tea leaves in your pot/cup... remove, save for next infusion. Great tea. Good company.

I love this tea and I love this company. The tea leaves are long and arrived mainly intact and unbroken (not disintegrating into powder like many loose leaf teas). The flavor is this Ceylon is lovely. It’s rich and doesn’t get bitter. Also, in a time when faster and easier reign supreme in the marketplace, Golden Moon has chosen the high road and is making tea that is pure, nontoxic, and packaged in zero plastic. I appreciate their mission and am happy to support it. The quality of the tea speaks for itself, too.

This is a good Ceylon tea. It is a delicate and aromatic tea like the dargeeling and thus not comparable with the standard english breakfast tea. However it requires at least 5 minutes of steeping to bring out the flavors. Also since the leaves are long and loose it is important to get the measuring right.

The tea suddenly changed .Before it had rich aroma and taste . After 2 years of being customer I suddenly got the product which lost those qualities and now it's equal to lower grade products . Will never buy it again .

The way was described wasn’t to the expectations was disappointing!! there’s wasn’t strong flavor or color ,wasn’t different than any other cheap teas !! i’m a hard core tea drinker Was very excited to try something new then couldn’t even return !! “i guess Impra Royal Elixir is still top quality open leaf loose tea & Tata gold tea ,Brook-bond /Tajmahal bluewouldn’t ve put any opinions until you asked my experience & welcomed me to share the thoughts & it’s my honest opinion !! thank you it’s not my favorite but may be some individuals will care for it !!! thank you

This is a review of the Ceylon tea. I specify this because of Amazon’s objectionable habit to lump together reviews of different teas. I have never brewed nor drunk hay, but this is how I imagine it to taste. On second thought, there is an additional flavor to it, but it is not particularly pleasant. A major miss by itself. However, for my new cup, I added some lavender and the blend tasted quite good actually. So I upgraded my rating from one star to three but with a caveat.
