Love this stuff, works great
This is my go-to flux, especially for tight spots, small items, and keeping in my portable solder station. It makes the solder flow and isn't a globby mess like paste flux. And you can kinda pump the tip if you need to soak a bigger tumble of wires. I love this stuff- Kester makes excellent products.

Excellent flux for all electronics
Kester RMA is excellent flux. Yes, it's sticky and leaves residue, but the residue is self passivating. That means that you do not need to clean it off. In fact, you will have less trouble, less leakage, less corrosion if you just leave it in place. I had the opportunity to work with one of the top experts in solder when I worked for Bill & Dave's Excellent Company. There is NO solder joint better than a tin-lead eutectic fluxed with Kester RMA. Everything else is a step down in quality.

Works well, but there are other options
This is a 'medium' level flux that works really well for most materials. Always use leaded solder to get the best and most durable joints! This flux Does leave behind a sticky residue that should be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol (90% or greater). The "SRA #312 Soldering Flux Pen" seems to work just as good and does not leave behind the residue; also dispenses much easier :)

Good quality RMA flux in a convenient pen
Good reliable flux pen. Takes a few tries to first prime the pen when brand new but after that it flows fine. Just paint the flux on where you need it.Kester 186 is a good RMA flux. It's a bit sticky, as most rosin base fluxes, so I like to clean it with a bit of flux cleaner after I'm done. Technically you can leave it on as it is non-conductive and non-corrosive.Kester 186 (RMA) and Kester 951 (No Clean) are my go to liquid fluxes for both lead and non-lead solder work. Great for soldering and desoldring.Don't cheap out on solder, flux, and soldering iron and you'll have no problem soldering.

Great
Not much to say, Kester products are great. They may cost more but are worth it.

The flux on stick made my soldering easier and fast.
I wished the sold them in two value packs and the flux was instant for clean job and the removal cap made easy cover compared to using a paint brush for flux jar. Would recommend to anyone soldering
