This is a nice, sturdy slip lead for a small dog. Small dogs need a lightweight lead (which this is) and the fact that it is a slip lead prevents the dog from backing out of the lead (it tightens when the dog backs away). It's just an overall nice lead for a very nice price.

This leash is a perfect size for my maltipoo. It works well for our walks.

I was looking for a thinner leash as my small cat likes to go on walks and will not tolerate a harness. I needed something that wouldn't allow her to escape, but wasn't bulky around her neck. This does the job. My one and only complaint is that it sometimes gets coiled/twisted up and you have to work out the kinks. Otherwise it's a great leash and less expensive than a lot of the similar alternatives. Go for it.

Dogs pull so hard that they choke. (They are very determined! And focused!)A MARTINGALE tightens when your baby starts pulling. But then it loosens when your dog stops pulling. (Slip collars don’t loosen.) The dog has aha! moments! And we get a Phew!All fabric are much more humane than one that are partly chain.And do prong collars work? Only if you want your dog to associate YOU with pain. Not a great relationship formed there.

Straight out of the package the red piece over where the handle loop it is not sewn completely and coming apart. I will have to get my sewing supplies out and fix it. Therefore, not sure how long it will hold up. Otherwise appears to be nice and lightweight.

These leashes are pretty good for how cheap they are. The “pattern C” version seems a bit higher quality, maybe a bit thicker? And doesn’t use cheap plastic. The picture of the red leash is about a year old, the pink leash is the “pattern C” new leash I just ordered. It’s pretty stiff but seems like it will loosen up as we use it more. The stopper is also very tight, which is good for a slip lead. These leashes are perfect for tiny dogs.

Very simple to use, especially with puppies.Comfortable in my hand and well made.

I’d prefer the length to be shorter for my medium sized dog but overall it works, has held up well for a couple of months now

Very bad quality. This insteadly frayed when we tried it out.

Only had the lead one day and the top layer has shredded already !!
