Best quality and loud sound for a very fair price!!!
This our first replacement Klipsch outdoor speaker set we have bought in close to 17 years! We already knew the quality would be solid, but did not expect that the sound would even be better and the price surprisingly low for these puppies! Great brand and great product. I read about the color being an issue for many customers. I have to say it is more ivory than white, but to be honest even though the trim is white on my house, the color contrasts very nicely. This is our opinion and our like, however, we recommend buying this product based on our past experience and our current set up with this new set due to price, quality and delivery service!

Sounds great, but not without flaws....
I cannot comment on bass, as these were used in conjunction with a 15" powered Behringer subwoofer. Used for an annual party in the woods. Getting too old to drag the amps and stacks up north, and these worked well with the big sub. Powered by a Sony STR-DH550. They sounded great - clean mids and crisp highs with a wide sound stage. They sounded no different before/during/after the 20 hour rain we rec'd. Pine sap wiped off the plastic cabinet with some Goo Gone (Goo Gone is citrus based and safe, Goof Off would surely melt the plastic case - be sure whatever you use to wipe them clean is safe for plastics!) I wish they could have handled the full power of the Sony receiver, but they produced adequate volume for a large area before they started to distort. Crisp highs, clean mids, and a WIDE sound stage. They really filled the area with music. The stage was wider than the Behringer tops and mid-bass cabinets I used to use.I don't like the super fragile grills. I see in a couple place stated they are stainless steel - they are not. these a mild steel and bend/ding super easily. They also do not come on and off as you would expect your average removable grill to. The steel mesh edge fits into a groove in the cabinet. A tight fit, so perfect alignment is req'd or you'll find yourself forcing one corner in. Bend the edge (which is VERY easy to do), and it will no longer fit until you reform the edge with a pair of pliers.I also didn't like the color. It shows virtually everywhere as a bright white, which they were not. They are an off-white/ivory color. Possible these are new old stock, and the color degrades over time, but that would equally undesirable.Once again, they get used for annual party in the woods, so while I have some minor complaints, they really aren't very valid for my purposes but may be for yours. Outside of the party, they will see very low power levels in my garage. I expect them to last for years. I will update here as necessary, as I do all my reviews....***UPDATE*** 11.11.2021 - These have moved in to my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, so they will see much more use than originally intended. Combined with an 1100w 12" sub/amp combo. The Klipsch's are powered by a 250w Sony amp. The OEM speakers are powered by a JVC head unit. I have not pushed them to the limit, but I can say they get loud enough with the Sony amp to hurt my ears without distorting. I added them to the rear of the Jeep, so I can rotate the speakers out of the open hatch when I am working/camping on the property up north. Really fill the property with sound - I have no trouble hearing clean/clear tunes on the front few acres. They still sound great driving the Jeep too, despite being in such a small space. They outperform the factory Infiniti speakers with ease.

Sound quality is increadible
These speakers are insanely good for the price. In fact, the price kind of threw me. I was not sure what to expect, but after I set them up, discussed buying a second set. I didn't want to put them outside because they are so much better than several other sets of speaker we have. I did, in fact, but a second set of Klipsch speakers..... and have to say that I hesitated to review these in case we want to purchased another pair (well, one of us does, but the other has pointed out how many sets of speakers we already have ;)Don't let the price fool you. These are amazing speakers : 40 hz to 112,000 mhz frequency range. (and the other specs just as mind boggling). No noise, no distortion, full range and then some.

Great sound - some reviews wrong info
These sound great, the Klipsch horns give impressive performance. If you are accustomed to using small battery speakers, these will bring out clarity on another level, so set your streaming service on hi fidelity and enjoy. The low range is down to 65hz, which is good for 5 1/4” speakers. It isn’t thundering bass, so if you need that will want a subwoofer as well, or larger speakers. Bought these for the deck at our lake house, so important NOT to have thundering bass to aggravate the neighbors. I have other Klipsch speakers these very similar sound to their reference speakers. My complaint is the color is like a yellowish white when they are outside. It is really noticeable against true white vinyl rails. I will just paint them at some point; but would a white paintable surface be that hard to make? Some other reviews have errors. Grills are aluminum (not steel) and the vinyl plug isn’t to cover the wires; but to plug the bass port under the grill if you put these where a driving rain and wind could force water inside, so review the manual and squish that in if needed.

Great speakers for the money
Pros:Very good soundEasy installNot expensive compared to othersCons:Bass is not too strong. Had to adjust it to avoid distortion. But still, fairly good sound quality. Some people complaint about the color being not white, but it still looks good and sounds good.Other notes:I paired it with the suggested bluetooth amplifier from Amazon and does a great job. Mounting was simple enough. Wiring was good (it came with its own cables) and after sound eq, everything sound great. It comes with a rubber cover for the wires to make sure the connection is protected from weather. It may not be High quality, but for the money, it is enough to play music at our pool party. All is left to see, is how will it last.Very happy with the purchase.
