Mini Stainless Steel Serving Tongs Small Tongs for Serving Food Cooking Salad Grilling (7-Inch 3 Pieces)

These are my favorite type of tongs. I use them daily. Both of the tongs I had fell apart at the same time. I've had them so long I had no idea where to get them. I started looking around as I went shopping but they were either sold separately and cost more then I beas willing to pay. I was excited to find the exact style I wanted in the price range I wanted to spend with the bonus of a third size. These tongs are better then my last set. A little thicker metal which feels more sturdy. I use them every day. Get these.

Basic tongs, but work well. I specifically wanted ones that don't have that weird pull lock on the end because it loosens over time, and these are great.

If you're looking for heavy duty tongs pass these...btw, heavy duty tongs won't outlast these...heavy duty tongs have heavier steel and heavier coiled spring making them capable of turning a large heavy piece of meat and to use them for any amount of time requires strong hands and forearms....these are utility tongs...they have a quality coiled spring and are made of good material...I've cooked tons...professionally...these are the tongs to use on the line so you don't get hand fatigue...they grip food well, are durable, and are easy...very easy to use...the locks do not get in the way...at all...I've read a few reviews saying they do and I can't figure out how they're using the tongs for the lock to be a bother...I'm replacing all my heavy-duty tongs (4) and my utility tongs (4) with 6 of these because of the locks...it'll make keeping them in a drawer less of a scramble... for whatever it's worth I recommend these.

Not sure why it is so hard to find the sliding clasp style tongs but these were about the only ones available on amazon. Pull tab are inconvenient because they require a second hand or your teeth to pull the tab when you want to lock them closed. Sliding clasp are nice because they require only one hand. However, they do the trick but the tongs my sibling gave me from the Culinary Institute or Art were solid. There feel like they will bend if I squeeze too tightly. Variety of sizes are nice. They don't feel like they will last.

I bought these to replace some older el-cheapo tongs I bought 20 years ago that are finally falling apart. My older ones were more flattened at the tips, making it easier to pick up vegetables on the grill. These new ones are more spoon-shaped at the tips, making it very hard to pick up small things. They work great at other uses like cooking things in a skillet. But I'll keep looking for flatter tongs to use for grilling veggies.

These tongs had great reviews for some reason. I found them to be extremely flimsy and I returned them immediately. They were definitely not the same ones that were pictured.

I thought that I am going to have that part as long as it's biggest one but I only got 12" inches as I am looking for about 17 inches.
