Works well, if it suits your tuner..
If you chose this antenna correctly for your tuner, it should work flawlessly..* I say "if" because I bought this to replace another (similar) product, which turned out to be useless. The main point to consider is the type of connector "in" you have, as there are both male and female types of input sockets and although this (and the other) both had male/female inverter adaptors, only this one was the right size to fit the ADAPTOR. I have to assume there are some other tuners out there for which my other antenna would work, in which case this one wouldn't fit on them.* In itself, this seems sturdy enough, it is thin copper after all so don't expect to be able to swing off it; it is however sheathed in fairly thick plastic, better than the single-strand types I've also seen, so hidden behind a cabinet or curtain should be robust enough to last your lifetime.* The reception through it is extremely good (for me), I don't live in the middle of nowhere but still was unable to get any FM reception at all without an additional antenna; my home hifi system now receives all the same stations, with just as much interference-free clarity, as my high-end car receiver parked outside the house.* All that was necessary to get the full band of reception was to Blu-Tac it to the inside of the top frame of a window, so no fancy installation nor fiddly metal "ears" to twirl round till you find the right direction!* Only minor drawback is the slightly reduced length, at this price hardly surprising and at nearly 180cm can't be complained about..any additional stretch to the vertical part however would have meant it could reach right up to the ceiling, which this one won't really do. I don't know if increasing the length of the two horizontal parts would improve reception for some people, in my case in certainly doesn't seem necessary

Great.
Basic and still one of the best aerials for bringing a good signal for fm tuners.

Works well
I bought this for use with a software defined radio on my computer, for use with air bands, so had to cut off the connector and solder some wires on instead. But it works really well for me as I live in a first floor (2nd floor if you're in the US) flat and so don't have much space. I tried tuning to FM radio station bands too and it gave very good signal strength and quality, so seems a very good antenna for the frequencies the description says it can be used for.

Rubbish
Don't bother, just go and use some copper cable out of a bit or twin and earth, this won't work either by the way

Great ariel for the money!
Great ariel for the money.....not the most advanced....but at the price....you can't go wrong. Make sure the connection between hi-fi and ariel are compatible.
