Worth every cent! (Make sure you get the old version of the Brikka)
The media could not be loaded. Unbelievably high quality at a reasonable price! I highly recommend this product for anyone who’s looking to make espresso-based drinks at home! Here’s how I make mine:-fill water in upper basin to the fill line. About 100 g- freshly grind coffee A little bit coarser than you would for traditional espresso.- Phil coffee filter basin and tap side to settle coffee. Do not tamp. Even off the top with the back of a knife and make sure the edge of the filter cup has not grounds on it.- place on stove high temperature.-once bubbling begins at end of the brew cycle remove form stove and pour into cup.

Best stove top "mocha" coffee maker by far.
I love the bialetti Brikka. I have the 2 and 4 cup model at my forest cabin, and a 2 cup model at my apartment. I also usually bring the 2 cup model with me when I travel. Other stove top mocha coffee makers make the equivalent of strong drip coffee. This coffee maker makes something resembling an espresso. Yes, (sigh) for all the smartypants out there, it's not "real" espresso, but it sure comes pretty close, and for less than $50 bucks and no loud space-hogging machine on the counter top that breaks down, I am in love with the Brikka's. I hope Bialetti never stops making them. If they ever do, I will be inconsolable.

I gave away my Moka because I love Brikka
I am not an expert but I love coffee and I cannot drink Starbucks. For many years, I was using Bialetti Moka pot (with Lavazza coffee) and then I switched to a Bialetti Brikka. This was so good that I have the only complain that I have to buy the second Brikka for my office. Now a newer version of my old Brikka came and this is even better! The coffee test is reacher and it makes a nice foam. The old version straggled with making the foam and this version has no problem. (Of course, the foam depends on the coffee: Lavazza Qualità Rossa gives very good foam but Lavazza Qualita Oro foam is thiner...). My dilemma is if I have to by the second new Bialetti Moka for my office because the difference in coffee is remarkable! But I gave 4-stars because the price. I think it is to0 much more expensive than Bialetti Moka pot. I would not have to chose and I will buy the second one to replace the old version of my Bialetti Brikka (which is still working fine) if the price is a little bit more reasonable.

Makes a delicious espresso.
Fantastic! We have the moka pot, but this is much better. Follow the directions, turn off the burner the instant it starts to sputter, and you will have a lovely espresso with a 1/2” of crema. Mmmm. Only downside is we should have purchased the 4 cup.

Did not meet the expectation of a brikka
Have owned 2 other bialleti brikka since 2000, this is the first one that constantly fails to make a satisfactory espresso-less than 2 cups came out, overboiled, no cream top. I use Illy espresso ground coffee.
