Fantastic tomatoes. The only downside is that 90% of the time the cans show up dented. Amazon is great to make things right, but I wish they could figure out a way to ship non-dented cans.

These are undoubtedly the best crushed tomatoes But I just opened my box and look at my can.It's all dented up

It's hard to find these near me so I had no choice but to order from Amazon. Even though they're almost double the cost compared to buying in a grocery store, they are worth it. These Sclafani Crushed Tomatoes are the best! There is nothing but tomatoes and salt, which makes them perfect for making sauce with the flavor I want.Unfortunately the case of cans came in a box that arrived split open and 2 of the cans were dented.

Due to illness we weren't able to can tomatoes this year. I thought we would try these tomatoes to make my Sunday sauce. They are the worst crushed tomatoes I have ever bought to cook with. Firstly, the tomatoes had that over cooked taste right out of the can, so making sauce on simmer really tasted nasty. Secondly the tomatoes were full of tomato skins. We pureed them then sifted to make sure we got them all. I do not recommend these tomatoes. I wish I I had opened a can when we first got them, but still had plenty of home canned tomatoes. Waste of money!

Open the can and it will make you happy and smile. Looks and smells great. New Jersey grown tomatoes I use to make my sauce/gravey paied with same brand paste and add sausage and meatballs 😊
